Description
- Part of the cargo shipment that you are looking for was recently acquired by some Jawa traders. The Jawas are off visiting customers and selling off their part of the cargo in smaller lots. Bastra/Barrezz has given you the first stop on their circuit, a place called Tosche Station.

Talk to Cuan Talon[]
No matter how you got here, Rebel or Imperial, the task is the same: go to Tosche Station and meet Cuan Talon (-161 -5322), see if you can locate the missing droid.
Conversation with Cuan Talon[]
Cuan Talon: Welcome to Tosche Station. If you are looking to get the most out of your speeder I have what you need.
PC: I am more interested in any recent purchases that you have made from some Jawas.
Cuan Talon: Yeah, I took in a shipment, but my warehouse manager, Janus, handled the details. You need to talk with him.
PC: Where is he?
Cuan Talon: We bought a load of power converters and control modules from the Jawas. He decided to test out some of them in his speeder. He headed off into the wilderness an hour ago. I just got a call that he is stuck out there.
PC: So you want me to play service department and get his speeder started again?
Cuan Talon: Well I run the place. You can't expect me to go off and help out a wayward employee, can you? Janus has all of the invoices and inventory lists on his datapad anyway. So just run out to him, help him fix his speeder and he can give you the information that you want.
PC: Ok I'll do it.
Cuan Talon: Here is the location. Just get him the parts and he should be able to give you the information that you need.
PC: Got it.
Cuan Talon: I was wondering if you could help out a friend named Sorna as well.
PC: No. I have what I need.
Cuan Talon: Ok.

Cuan is going to send you to Janus the warehouse manager (-256 -6200).
Smoke on the Horizon/Investigate Burning Wreck/Search Data Pad[]
Surprise! Prepare for combat, approach carefully. There are a few Desert Demons you must kill (CL13-14) while locating the "Tosche Station Datapad." Once you find it, the quest will complete. You may want to talk to Sorna (-135, -5331), to get the Find Sorna and Flowers for Shmi quests and receive the Grace of Shmi buff.
Cuan Talon: What do you mean he's dead? I just talked to him this morning. This is getting out of hand. Here is your reward. I want nothing more to do with this.
