<< Previous Quest: Corellian Times Investigations

Vani Korr is the questgiver after you finished the Pre-Quest. She is inside the Medical Center in Coronet.

/way corellia -105 -4436 Vani Korr

Note: The combat level of NPCs as well as the credits and experience earned vary depending on your combat level. You must be level 55 to start the quests. This guide rather focuses on the level 90 quests.

The Meatlumps Hideout, Part 1[]

Level: 65 or 90
Rewards:

  • Experience: 129095 (CL90) or 59142 (CL65) (Quest Combat)
  • Money: 8956 credits (CL90) or 6492 (CL65)

Description:

Vani Korr has asked you to find a way into the Meatlump Hideout. First, you must find out where it is. To that end, you are investigating vandalism at a crate manufacturing company.

Difficulty

Recommended combat levels: 65 and higher

Recommended combat levels: 90 and higher

Investigating Crate Vandalism[]

In order to find the Meatlumps Hideout, you are investigating vandalism at a crate manufacturing company (/way corellia -597 -3928). Speak with the owner, Talan Joben (a crate manufacturer).

Conversation with Talan Joben[]

Talan Joben: Someone has attacked my company and destroyed my precious crates!
PC: Calm down and tell me what happened.
Talan Joben: I just said...someone has attacked my company and destroyed my precious crates. That's what happened.
PC: Do you know who did this?
Talan Joben: No, but it was obviously someone who hates crates. Though it could also have been someone who might have thought the crates contained something worth finding. Like a health pack or maybe some credits. I guess that means just about anyone could have done this.
PC: Can you think of anything else?
Talan Joben: Oh, they also destroyed some of my crate-making machinery. Which makes no sense because the crates won't have anything inside of them until after they are finished being made. Maybe you should go take a look.

Examine the Damage[]

Examine the datapad nearby.

/wp -607 -3900 a datapad;

You will get another quest update which tells you that there are nine bombs in some of the cities.

From the Datapad[]

On the screen of the datapad is a message: "Bombs have been placed near hotels in major cities throughout the galaxy. These bombs are in crates manufactured by this very company! There will be more unless the manufacturing of crates throughout the galaxy is stopped. Heed well this warning!"

Find the Bombs[]

If you want to search for them yourself, we'll let you know that the name of the crates are "a Joben-brand crate".

/way orange naboo 1777 2716 "Meatlump bomb in Keren";

/way orange rori -5162 -2328 "Meatlump bomb in Narmle";
/way orange talus 686 -3030 "Meatlump bomb in Dearic"

Next to that last bomb, you found a tarnished badge.

Tarnished Badge[]

Next to that last bomb, you found a tarnished badge saying, "Riyan Kiner has explored the depths of the Agrilat Crystal Swamp."

Confront Riyan Kiner / Kiyan Riner[]

Confront Riyan Kiner/Kiyan Riner (CL 63/CL 90) and find out what he knows about the bombs.

/way corellia orange -1914 20 -125 "Riyan Kiner CL63"
/way corellia orange 103 17 1700 "Kiyan Riner CL90"

Conversation with Riyan Kiner[]

Riyan Kiner: What do you want?
PC: Who are you?
Riyan Kiner: I was once an accomplished adventurer. I scoured the galaxy looking for fame and fortune. But it all came crashing down.
PC: What happened?
Riyan Kiner: I was looking for a fabled artifact. The Force crystal of Naga Sadow or the Journals of Ood Bnar or maybe just a really well-made bantha burger. I forget what it was. But after searching crate after crate after crate for hours and days and weeks, I found nothing. Nothing!! I finally gave up and retired.
PC: Sounds like you don't like crates much...
Riyan Kiner: Crates?!!? I hate 'em! Worse thing that ever happened to the universe. And did you know that there are people mass producing them! I could not believe it. When I found out, I knew that I had to take action. These crate makers must be stopped!!
PC: So you made the bombs?
Riyan Kiner: Yes, that's right. I used some crates and made them into bombs. People must learn to fear crates and thus banish them from existence!! Wait a second...you...you're an adventurer. You must think you can stop me, but it's too late! You'll never find my bombs in time!
PC: Actually, I already found and disarmed them.
Riyan Kiner: What!??! Noooooo!

Depending of your Level you either need to kill Riyan Kiner (CL 63) or Kiyan Riner (CL 90)

Return to Vani Korr[]

Basically you just need to return to her. She is inside the Medical Center (/wp -105 -4436) on the ground floor. When you talk to her this quest is finished.

Conversation with Vani Korr[]

Vani Korr: That was interesting, though a dead end. Oh well, moving on. Next up is a droid engineer who claims his droids have been sabotaged.
PC: Sabotaged droids...I'll look into it.
Vani Korr: Good. Hopefully this time the Meatlumps were involved.

The Meatlumps Hideout, Part 2[]

Level: 65 or 90
Rewards:

  • Experience: 59142 (Quest Combat, CL 65)
  • Money: 6847 credits (CL 65)

Description:

Vani Korr has asked you to find a way into the Meatlump Hideout. First, you must find out where it is. To that end, you are investigating a report of sabotage from a droid manufacturer.

Difficulty

Recommended combat levels: 65 and higher

Difficulty

Recommended combat levels: 90 and higher

Droid Sabotage[]

This time you are going to investigate a droid factory. Talk to Zorajas Garamin (a farmer) near Tyrena at /wp -6152 -2004

Conversation with Zorajas Garamin[]

Zorajas Garamin: You here to look at my droids? They've been sabotaged, I guarantee it!
PC: What seems to be the problem?
Zorajas Garamin: See for yourself...they won't grow.
PC: They won't...grow?
Zorajas Garamin: That's right. I've tried watering them more often, blocking sunlight, and even talking nicely to them, but nothing had worked. Someone must be sabotaging them.
PC: Um...okay, I'll take a look.
Zorajas Garamin: Thank you very kindly.

Examine Some of the Droids[]

Now go to the field next to you and examine (click) all of those Droid parts.

Speak with Zorajas[]

Speak with Zorajas Garamin again.

Conversation with Zorajas Garamin[]

Zorajas Garamin: Did you find anything?
PC: Nothing. And it doesn't look like sabotage.
Zorajas Garamin: No? Well then, I'm stumped. What could be the problem?
PC: Er...have you had the soil tested?
Zorajas Garamin: Well I'll be...I never thought of that. What if the soil here won't let me grow droids? Then what am I going to do? Maybe I could plant carbines...
PC: Maybe they aren't planted deep enough.
Zorajas Garamin: Hmm...maybe. But if I plant them any deeper, no one will be able to see them. It'll just look like an empty field. Like I'm growing dirt or something. My father grew dirt, and I came out here to get away from the family business.
PC: What kind of fertilizer are you using?
Zorajas Garamin: I was going to use fresh bantha manure, but then I decided on Banthamax 4600-SL synthetic bantha manure with exceptional fertilizing power and realistic manure smell.
PC: I don't think you can plant droid parts and have them grow into droids.
Zorajas Garamin: Well, that's crazy. How else would you get a droid? They don't have reproducing parts like people. Only thing left is that they grow in the ground like a plant.

Return to Vani Korr[]

Return to Vani Korr (/wp -105 -4436). The second part ends here.

Conversation with Vani Korr[]

Vani Korr: A Droid Farm?? He actually planted droid parts in the ground and expected droids to grow from them? Amazing! I may have to do a story on that guy. I can't believe I called him a Droid Engineer.
PC: So, any new leads on possible Meatlump activities?
Vani Korr: What? Oh right. Back to business. And yes, actually, I have a good lead this time. A moderately well known speeder bike racer named Sul Prine claims that some Meatlumps destroyed his speeder bikes. He specifically names the Meatlumps as the ones who did it.
PC: Sounds like a solid lead.
Vani Korr: It does! Sul Prine's place is on Talus. Which is interesting. If the Meatlumps were truly responsible for the destruction of those bikes, that means they are branching out to other planets. I wonder how many Meatlumps have died when they destroyed the transport on which they were traveling.

The Meatlumps Hideout, Part 3[]

Level: 65 or 90
Rewards:

  • Experience: 129095 (CL90) or 59142 (CL65) (Quest Combat)
  • Money: 8997 (CL90) or 6519 (CL65) credits

Description:

Vani Korr has asked you to find a way into the Meatlump Hideout. First, you must find out where it is. To that end, you are investigating some speeder bikes that were destroyed.

Difficulty

Recommended combat levels: 65 and higher

Difficulty

Recommended combat levels: 90 and higher

Speak with Sul Prine[]

Sul Prine (a speeder bike racer) has reported that some of his speeder bikes were destroyed. He claims that some Meatlumps are responsible. Speak with Sul Prine on Talus near Dearic at /wp 843 -3178.

Conversation with Sul Prine[]

Sul Prine: They smashed my bikes. Some Meatlumps. I know of them on Corellia, but had never run into any here on Talus before this.
PC: How do you know it was Meatlumps?
Sul Prine: I found one of their jackets. They left it behind...probably forgotten in their lustful rampage of destruction. There was also a map to their camp. I will upload the coordinates for you.

Attack the Meatlumps[]

After you have spoke to Sul Prine, he will update your quest, and he wants you to attack the Meatlumps.

  • The level 64 version is on Talus, NW of Nashal (/wp 2979 6374). Kill 11 Meatlump moops (CL 64).
  • For the level 90 version, you have to travel to Endor (nearest starport is Smuggler Outpost). The Meatlumps camp is located at /wp 1190 1926. Kill 11 Meatlump moops (CL 90).

The Meatlumps Talk[]

The Meatlumps were lead by a lieutenant named Strilath Farles. You learn that he hangs out in Doaba Guerfel. You learn that when his crew needs him, they signal him with one of the radios they have hidden throughout the city.

Confront Strilath Farles[]

Again and again and again you get an update. The Meatlumps were lead by a lieutenant named Strilath Farles. You'll find a radio in Doaba Guerfel at /wp Corellia 3169 5059 for the level 63-89 quest version, the level 90 version is located at /wp Corellia 3070 5024.

/way Corellia 3169 5059 a radio (CL 65);
/way Corellia 3070 5024 a radio (CL 90);

Activate the Radio and Strilath Farles (a Meatlump lieutenant) will spawn in (CL 65/91). He will surrender at ~5-10%. After you talked to him, this part is finished.

Conversation with Strilath Farles[]

Strilath Farles: Okay, okay. You win. I've had enough. Man, you really need to relax a bit. Life is too short, man.
PC: I need some information from you.
Strilath Farles: Information? What kind of information?
PC: I want to know where the main Meatlump Hideout is.
Strilath Farles: Oh really. Ha, that's...hmm. Wait a second. Tell you what, if you help me with a little problem, I'll tell you what you want to know.
PC: Okay, what's the problem.
Strilath Farles: Some local Ragtags keep messing with me and my work. That's partly why I agreed to a relocation to another planet, but I'd still like to stick it to those Ragtags. Take them out for me, and we can deal.

The Meatlumps Hideout, Part 4[]

Level: 65 or 90
Rewards:

  • Experience: 129095 (CL90) 53765 (CL65) (Quest Combat)
  • Money: 8963 credits
  • 9x Meatlump Lump

Description:

Vani Korr has asked you to find a way into the Meatlump Hideout. First, you must find out where it is. To that end, you are doing a favor for a Meatlump lieutenant named Strilath Farles in exchange for information.

Difficulty

Recommended combat levels: 65 and higher

Difficulty

Recommended combat levels: 90 and higher

Fighting Ragtags[]

Now as you spoke to Strilath Farles, you are ordered to kill the following NPC's:

For CL64:

  • Defeat 13 Gramo Murah's Goons (CL 64)
  • Defeat Gramo Murah (CL 64) - his location is /wp 6402 7357. He's not hard to find, he's at the end of the base.
/way corellia 6402 7357 Ragtag Base CL 64

For CL90:

  • Defeat 13 Mramo Gurah's Goons (CL90)
  • Defeat Mramo Gurah (CL 91) - his location is /wp 7378 307 6937. He's not hard to find, he's at the end of the base.
/way corellia 7378 6937 Ragtag Base CL 90

Having the CL 90 quest and defeating Ragtags at the CL 64 location will not earn the credit you need to advance.

After you do this you get another update.

Destroy Gramo's Stash[]

So you need to destroy "a locked stash". It is outside of the bunker.

/wp 6442 7404 a locked stash (CL 65)
/wp 7282 6872 a locked stash (CL 90)

Speak with Strilath[]

Now you need to go speak with Strilath, so back to Doaba Guerfel and use the radio again.

/wp Corellia 3169 5059 a radio (CL 65);
/wp Corellia 3070 5024 a radio (CL 90);

Conversation with Strilath Farles[]

Strilath Farles: Wow, you really did it. I guess that open hostility of yours came in handy. Pretty nice.
PC: Okay, I did my part. Now tell me where the hideout is.
Strilath Farles: Oh yeah. That. Well the thing is, I don't actually remember where the hideout is. I thought it was here in Doaba Guerfel, so I came here...again...to look for it...again. But still can't find it. It's a really well hidden hideout. Unless it's someplace else. Though it's probably still well hidden.
PC: You really don't know where it is?
Strilath Farles: I really don't. And now I'm gone!
PC: You're still here.
Strilath Farles: So I am. Would you mind if I tried that again?
PC: I think you should stay and be punished for misleading me.
Strilath Farles: Too bad, so sad...and I'm outa here!

Return to Vani Korr[]

Obviously Strilath doesn't know where the base is, so anyhow we need to go back to Vani Korr (/wp -105 -4436). After you speak to her this part is finished.

Conversation with Vani Korr[]

Vani Korr: I'm beginning to wonder if the Meatlump King has avoided being found simply due to the buffoonery of his followers. I found a report of another Meatlump smashing a generator here in Coronet, but I'm starting to wonder if it's even worth pursuing.
PC: I think it is.
Vani Korr: Well then I'm revitalized. Go find that Meatlump. He's smashing a generator somewhere in Northeast Coronet.

The Meatlumps Hideout, Part 5[]

Level: 65 or 90
Rewards:

Description:

Vani Korr has asked you to find a way into the Meatlump Hideout. First, you must find out where it is. To that end, you are investigating an old Meatlump in Coronet who is smashing some generators.

Difficulty

Recommended combat levels: 65 and higher

Difficulty

Recommended combat levels: 90 and higher

Find the Old Meatlump[]

Investigate again. Alliin Mepou (a Meatlump) has been seen in Northeast Coronet. Speak with him and you will offer to take his place.

/wp corellia 27 -4344 Alliin Mepou;

Conversation with Alliin Mepou[]

Alliin Mepou: Oh, don't mind me. I'm just smashing this machine thing.
PC: Why are you doing that?
Alliin Mepou: I don't know. Why not? Kaiya likes it when I smash things. She's my lieutenant...Kaiya is. But I don't know why I do it any more. I think I'd like to stop.
PC: Well then stop.
Alliin Mepou: It's not that easy. If you want to retire from being a Meatlump, you have to bring in at least one new person to take your place. But I don't know anyone.
PC: What if I took your place?
Alliin Mepou: Oh, really? That would be nice, I think. Then I could just sleep all day and watch holovids. Oh, but you'll need to speak with my lieutenant. Her name is Kaiya. She's usually somewhere around Coronet.

Speak with Alliin's Lieutenant[]

Kaiya Merel (a Meatlump Lieutenant) is located near the Theater (North Coronet).

/wp corellia -274 -4144 Kaiya Merel;

Conversation with Kaiya Merel[]

Kaiya Merel: Who are ya and why should I speak with ya?
PC: I would like to replace Alliin as a Meatlump so he can retire.
Kaiya Merel: Now and then we have a hope that if we lived and were good, the Force would permit us to be Meatlumps. And ya think yeh are ready then?
PC: I am.
Kaiya Merel: Alright then. Let's see what ya can do. Meet up with a couple a rogue CorSec officers I've been looking to work with. Help them highjack and destroy a shuttle. If ya do well and they can stand working with ya, then maybe, just maybe, ya won't be a complete waste of my time.
PC: I can handle that.
Kaiya Merel: Well, I should hope so. Get on it.

When you talk to her your quest will be updated and the fifth part is done.

The Meatlumps Hideout, Part 6[]

Level: 65 or 90
Rewards:

  • Experience: 129095 (CL90) 53765 (CL65) (Quest Combat)
  • 7x Meatlump Lumps

Description:

Vani Korr has asked you to find a way into the Meatlump Hideout. First, you must find out where it is. To that end, you are trying to gain the confidence of a Meatlump lieutenant to infiltrate their ranks.

Difficulty

Recommended combat levels: 65 and higher

Difficulty

Recommended combat levels: 90 and higher

Meet with the Rogue CorSec Officer[]

Now that you are going to replace Alliin. You are tasked to eliminate two Rogue CorSec officers.

  • If you are between level 65-89, you'll be sent to two Rogue CorSec officers near Coronet that are CL 65.
  • Defeat Erinn Bonette
  • Defeat Echdo Bervekk
  • For those who are of level 90, the Meeting spot is near Tyrena at /wp -7167 140. You will have to kill the two guys (CL 90) waiting there.
  • Defeat Berinn Ebonette
  • Defeat Bechdo Ervekk

Return to Kaiya Merel[]

Return to Kaiya Merel and speak with her to complete the quest.

Conversation with Kaiya Merel[]

Kaiya Merel: Yer back? What's going on? I haven't heard anything from them rogue CorSecs.
PC: Our meet was raided by some CorSec agents.
Kaiya Merel: What?!!? What happened then?
PC: The two rogue CorSec officers were killed. I managed to escape.
Kaiya Merel: Ya managed to escape? I'm impressed. Especially when those other two didn't. They were the best I'd known. Ya must be better. Hmm...maybe there's something else ya can do for me then.
PC: What's that?
Kaiya Merel: There's a rival Meatlump lieutenant that I've been meaning to take down a peg or two. Word is that he is planning something big. I want those plans for myself. I am, after all, the far greater Meatlump. Find out what he's planning and then beat him to it.

Conversation with Kaiya Merel[]

Kaiya Merel: Ah, it's yeh. My favorite new Meatlump. Unless ya have let me down. Ya haven't let me down, have ya?
PC: No, but your rival? He didn't make it.
Kaiya Merel: Didn't make it? Ha! That's even better than I'd hoped. I think. Though now I'll need a new rival, and that one was pretty easy to beat. But still, I can't fault ya for that. Ya did yer part.
PC: So am I a Meatlump?
Kaiya Merel: Ya are. Ya always have been, if ya ask me. I'll make sure ya can enter our Hideout. It's here in Coronet in some abandoned maintenance tunnels. If ya do good, ya might even meet our King. Er...if we have one, that is. I shouldn't give away all our secrets to some new Meatie.

Return to Vani Korr[]

You need to go back to Vani Korr (/wp -105 -4436), to tell her the good news that you "infiltrated" the Meaties. This part is finished.

Conversation with Vani Korr[]

Vani Korr: Well done! Now we not only know where their main hideout is...right here in Coronet no less...but you have free access to it as a Meatlump initiate.
PC: What do I do now?
Vani Korr: Explore the Meatlump Hideout. Find the Meatlump King, if he exists. OH, and I should introduce you to an associate of mine from the Corellia Times. He is going to aid me with this story while I'm still recovering. Be sure to speak with him for guidance.
