Go Speak with Jzoro Quanera[]
Now you must infiltrate the Chirq Council by gaining the trust of the underbosses.
Your first contact as "Trins Evnar" is Jzoro Quanera (/way 2637 5616).
Note: At this point in the quest, just before you enter the Jzoro's Bunker, talk to Galvain Tark /way 2672 5612 to get his quest: Recover the Stolen Racing Durni
Conversation with Jzoro Quanera[]
Jzoro Quanera: Yeah, what do you want? I'm busy.
PC: I'm Trins Evnar.
Jzoro Quanera: I recognize that name. You work for Kazic Pendre, right? Only, I haven't heard from Kazic lately.
PC: That's why I'm here. I'm looking for work, and can't find Kazic.
Jzoro Quanera: Well, alright. I'll throw some work your way. If you do well enough, I might just give you that deadbeat Kazic's job. I need you to oversee the acceptance of a delivery of spice. This is important, because it's being delivered by some Monumenters, and this is the first time we've worked with them. Keep your eyes open. I'll send some guards to the meet to watch your back.
PC: I'll take care of it.
Jzoro Quanera: You'd better. I'll know if you don't.
Spice Delivery[]
Jzoro Quanera recognizes the name Evnar, but has never seen him - your ruse works! He says that since he hasn't heard from Kazic Pendre in a while, he is willing to give the job to you. Your first "assignment" is to meet with a group of Monumenters unloading some spice (/way 2973 5870). Your true will be to switch the spice for a fake crate and clear away any and all witnesses.
- Kill 7 Monumenter Poachers (CL38)
- Kill 7 Chirq Council Ruffians (CL38)
Kill the gangsters and take all four crates of spice (under the tents).
Go to Captain Baize to Switch the Spice[]
Then, and return to Cpt. Baize.
Conversation with Captain Vitala Baize[]
Captain Vitala Baize: Good. We'll switch the spice you collected with some poor quality spice that we've diluted with a common medicinal powder. It's unlikely that Jzoro will notice, but even if he does, he'll blame the Monumenters.
Take the Spice to Jzoro[]
Cpt. Baize switches the spice and asks you to take it to Jzoro, who probably won't notice.
Conversation with Jzoro Quanera[]
Jzoro Quanera: What happened out there? I'm told there was a big fight?
PC: We were double-crossed, but I got the spice.
Jzoro Quanera: I was afraid of something like that, but I'm impressed that you kept your head and took care of business. That's important in our line of work. So we'll keep working together. I have another job for you.
PC: What's the job?
Jzoro Quanera: Rumor has reached my ears of a CorSec agent masquerading as a small-time thug in order to gather information about the Council. I don't care if it's true or not, find out who this rumor is about and get rid of them.
PC: I'll get rid of them.
Jzoro Quanera: I'm sure you will.
Go Warn Lilith[]
Lilith Laughlin
Jzoro is impressed you kept your head when things got violent in the "doublecross" and gives you another mission - eliminate a suspected double-agent: Lilith! You have to warn her that she has been compromised.
Conversation with Lilith Laughlin[]
Lilith Laughlin: We can't be seen talking. It's too dangerous to both of us.
PC: I know, but you are in danger. Keep a low profile for a while.
Lilith Laughlin: Thanks for the warning. It'll be odd if I disappear from the streets, so I need to stay visible. But I'll halt my investigation for now.
Manufacturing a CorSec Agent[]
Ebela Puckett
Lilith is grateful and gives you a camera to use for the next phase of your assignment. To keep Lilith safe, you are going to convince Jzoro that a terrorist leader named Ebela Puckett of the Grey Shroud Terrorists is the double agent.
Travel to the Grey Shroud base (/way 3340 5977) and complete the following tasks:
- Take Ebela's picture (use the camera Lilith gave you - target Ebela and double-click the camera)
- Kill 6 Grey Shroud Terrorists
Eliminate Ebela Puckett[]
Once you have her picture, kill her, and take her photo back to Cpt. Baize.
Conversation with Captain Vitala Baize[]
Captain Vitala Baize: You have been authorized to use this terminal to make a fake CorSec ID. Go ahead.
Use the CorSec Terminal[]
Use the CorSec computer to make a fake ID for Ebela to fool Jzoro. This updates the quest.
