I wouldn't call Gallop an inherent combat ability :). --Influenza 01:58, 22 Jun 2005 (CEST)
- Okay, I agree. It's an inherent ability, though--when you have a mount. Suggestions on where we should put it? Or is the one listing on the Mounts page good enough? --Tandalo 03:00, 22 Jun 2005 (CEST)
Ideal weapon range[]
Does this still exist in the game? Refered to in last section.--SwordMage 17:27, 4 Sep 2005 (CEST)
- Nope. Now weapons range is just different for each weapon. If your out of the range, you can't fire. Range has no effect on damage or accuracy.--Tandalo 05:07, 5 Sep 2005 (CEST)
- Also, some specials (actually I know only one, which is Rifleman's Snipershot, but there are other ones) needs you to be at a minimum distance (20m in the case of Snipershot); if you are too close you can not use the special. This is the only effect of range, besides what Tandalo just explained --Zooco Chimaera 13:53, 5 Sep 2005 (CEST)
- I took out the reference as being confusing in the current game context without more info about the special cases. If it needs to be there, someone will need to explain it more fully. --SwordMage 15:53, 5 Sep 2005 (CEST)
States[]
I'm pretty sure the combat states are a little out of date, since the CU. Tumbling, for sure, is out of the game. Should we just get rid of it or reference it? I'd say refer to it in the dictionary, but remove it from this list.--Tandalo 18:10, 29 Sep 2005 (CEST)
- Since it has its own page, maybe just marking the page as obsolete and having a "pre-CU" boneyard page to keep such things would be enough. I am not sure the dictionary is the place to immortalize outdated things unless they really rear their ugly head a lot as though still active. --SwordMage 02:03, 30 Sep 2005 (CEST)
- I think there was a place for outdated things to go to, but I forget where or the name of the category. I agree that things you'd see while browsing the site should be up-to-do, or at least warn you that the page is out-of-date.--Tandalo 22:18, 30 Sep 2005 (CEST)
