Profession Overview[]
Swordsman is a melee profession that uses swords and hammers to deal heavy damage. Swordsman is the hardest hitting melee profession, although it's a little lacking on defense. Incrediblly useful damage specials such as Critical Strike and Head Hit are only aquirable in the Swordsman profession. Abilities such as Armor Break and Area Taunt make it appealing to other melee profession too.
This profession requires 106 skill points to master, 43 of which go towards prerequisites.
XP requirements to Master, including prerequisites:
- 405,000 Combat XP
- 91650 Onehanded Weapons XP
- 4,891,650 Twohanded Weapons XP

The Swordsman is the heavy hitting melee damage dealer. Up close there is no one that can dish it out like a Swordsman. The Swordsman has decent defensive abilities but is unable to hold out for the long haul.

Training Novice Swordsman requires 125,000 Two-handed XP and two branches from the Brawler tree:
