Sera Jossi is concerned about the presence of the insane Wookiees in the nearby area and has told you about their bounty.

/way -236, 59 Sera Jossi;

This quest automatically starts after finishing Rroow's quest "Package for Sera" but the quest can be started by directly talking to Sera, without having completed "Package for Sera".

The quest is divided in two parts "Destroy the Crazy Wookiees" and "Sera Jossi". If you don't want to kill innocent Wookiees for money, you can say so to Sera during the initial discussion and skip the quest "Destroy the Crazy Wookiees".

Conversation with Sera Jossi[]

Sera Jossi: Hey there, are you new to Kashyyyk?
PC: Yes, this is my first trip through the region.
Sera Jossi: Well Kashyyyk can be a dangerous place if you don't know what you are doing.
PC: That's fine, I know how to take care of myself.
Sera Jossi: Well, if you are up to it I could use a bit of help.
PC: What sort of thing did you have in mind?
Sera Jossi: There are some Wookiees down near an old abandoned village that have been stricken with madness. The Trandoshan invasion has had mixed results among the populace and this is just one sign.
PC: Sounds tragic to be sure, but what do you want me to do about it?
Sera Jossi: They are mad creatures and will attack anybody on sight. The Wookiees from Kachirho won't kill their own, the Trandoshans don't care about a Wookiee they can't enslave. There is a local bounty office that will pay you for proof of their destruction.
PC: A bounty you say. How much?
Sera Jossi: Bounties pay 1000 per wookiee destroyed.The office has limited hunters to ten wookiees destroyed per hunter. And you must be able to prove their sickness.
PC: How would I do that?
Sera Jossi: When the madness sets in, their health erodes some. A common manifestation is in the teeth which will corrode quickly. Take a tooth from each wookiee you kill for proof.

Option 1:
PC: I will do it. Credits are always welcome.
Sera Jossi: There is an abandoned Wookiee village to the north. They all end up there when the madness settles in. I do not know what the draw of this place is.

PC: The taking of innocent lives is not for me. You may keep your blood money.
Sera Jossi: It is good to see someone with a pure heart these days. There is another way.
PC: Tell me then what it is.
Sera Jossi: There is a wookiee in town named Cheyerooto. I understand he was a bio engineer of some renown on Chandrillia.
PC: And he can cure them?
Sera Jossi: He believes so. The anguish at their situation brings on a mental sickness. The sickness is perpetuated by physical ills in the afflicted wookiee. Dr. Cheyerooto believes that he can treat the symptoms and cure the mad wookiee.
PC: What does he need me to do?
Sera Jossi: There is a large wookiee down in a destroyed village called Wrhisch. He was one of the first to come under the sickness and is dying from the decay it causes. If you could put him out of his misery and bring his liver to the doctor, a cure might be found.
PC: That seems a bit gruesome!
Sera Jossi: It is asking alot I know. But Wrhisch is dying already and his pain must be great. I can pay you 1000 for your services with Wrhisch, and the doctor can offer 9000 more when the task is complete.
PC: Again with the blood money.
Sera Jossi: Some sacrifices are necessary for the overall good.
PC: I understand. I will kill this Wrhisch, and Cheyerooto will have his medicine.
Sera Jossi: Thank you. Dr. Cheyerooto is in the medical center, you can speak with him when you have finished.

Destroy the Crazy Wookiees[]

Recommended combat levels: 30 and higher

Cleanse the abandoned Wookiee village[]

Sera asks you to collect the bounty on 10 mad Wookiees in the abandoned villiage (/way 173 551 ) and collect their teeth as proof of the deed. Travel to the village and kill the Mad Wookiees CL24 and Anguished Wookiees CL25, the Forlorn Wookiees don't count towards your bounty, you should find 6 packs of 2 in the center of the village.

Collect Bounty[]

Now collect the bounty reward from Stren Colo (/way -667 -115), he is standing just outside the Imperial building next to the Starport.

Conversation with Stren Colo[]

Stren Colo: Yes what is it, I don't have all day.
PC: I was told I could collect a bounty here.
Stren Colo: Bounty is it. What one, we have a number of them out there.
PC: For the mad wookiee wandering the countryside, I have some teeth.
Stren Colo: Ah yes, those disgusting creatures.
PC: Look, do you have my credits or not.
Stren Colo: Ok, 10000 credits. I don't know why we can just get a stormtrooper company down here to take care of these things for us.

Once you turn in the bounty, return to Sera Jossi (/way -236 58) for the second half of the quest.

Sera Jossi wants you to collect the liver of the mad Wookiee Wrhisch and take it to Dr. Cheyerooto in the medical center of Kachirho.

You disagree with killing more Wookies if there is a chance for a cure. Sera tells you about a Wookiee named Cheyerooto in Kachirho, he was a Bio engineer on Chandrillia. She asks that you kill Wrhisch in the Abandoned Village and bring his liver to the bio engineer Cheyerooto so that he can create a cure for this illness. You agree to track down Wrhisch, one of the first to be infected. Collect his liver so a cure may be found.

Wrhisch[]

You will find Wrhisch in the center of the village (/way 186 577), he is CL25.

You receive 1,000 credits for killing Wrhisch.

Dr. Cheyerooto[]

Return to Kachirho, you will find Dr. Cheyerooto on the second floor of the great tree (all the way around to the right). Talk to him to turn in the liver.

You receive 9,000 credits for delivering the liver.

Conversation with Dr. Cheyerooto[]

Dr. Cheyerooto: %NU, are you the one Sera contacted me about?
PC: I have the liver you requested.
Dr. Cheyerooto: I appreciate your commitment. Killing this creature could not have been an easy task.
PC: It was all I could do to help.
Dr. Cheyerooto: This was one of the last few parts needed for a treatment I have been working on as I'm sure Sera mentioned. Now that it is finished I was wondering if you could assist me further.
PC: What would I need to do?
Dr. Cheyerooto: There is a root called Rrwii, it grows in Etyyy the sacred hunting grounds. The rodians have taken over this area, claiming all game there as their own. I need you to gain entrance to these lands, and collect for me five of this root.
PC: I will get them for you.
Dr. Cheyerooto: Thank you again. I will have more once you return with the samples.
