Head to the Corellian Diktat Daclif Gallamby (-246 -4572) inside the Coronet Capitol.
Conversation with Daclif Gallamby[]
Daclif Gallamby: Yes, hello. I'm quite busy, but if you can make it quick, I'll listen to what you have to say.
PC: Here are the writs to search your office.
Daclif Gallamby: What's this? I see. Well, everything seems to be in order. I suppose there's nothing I can do about this at this point. Don't worry, I know that you're just doing your job. As must we all.
Search the Diktat's Desk/Search the Diktat's Data Terminal[]
Once you have spoken to him, you are to search his Desk, (by clicking on it), then his data terminal.
A Strange Device[]
You found nothing even remotely incriminating or even suspicious among the Diktat's papers, data files, or recent communications. However you do find an odd device hooked into the Diktat's data terminal connection. Ask the Diktat if he knows what it is.
Ask the Diktat about the Strange Device[]
Speak with the Diktat about a device attached to his data terminal.
Conversation with Daclif Gallamby[]
Daclif Gallamby: I could have told you that you'd find nothing, because there is nothing to find.
PC: Do you recognize this device on your terminal??
Daclif Gallamby: What? That device? I've never seen it before in my life, but at any rate, I'm not a technician. Take the device if you wish.
Report to Lt. Jasper[]
He does not know anything about it, so you should take the device to Lt. Jasper to complete the Quest.
Conversation with Lieutenant Mack Jasper[]
Lieutenant Mack Jasper: Not a single file or document that was even mildly suspicious--except this device. I have no idea what it is or does. But I know how we can find out. There's a gadget specialist here in Coronet. I've worked with him in the past. If he can't help us, no one can.
PC: I'll go speak with the gadget specialist.
Lieutenant Mack Jasper: Thank you. If he can figure out what it does, that will be a big help. If he can figure out how it got onto the Diktat's terminal connection, even better! Report to me when you're done speaking with the gadget specialist.
