To start this quest, you need to have either the Elder Jedi Arbiter Robe or Elder Jedi Oppressor Robe in the inventory. Start the quest by talking to Loisya Starkos in the Trade Outpost on Dathomir.

Loisya Starkos: That is an interesting robe, if I may say so myself.
PC: How is that any concern of yours?
Loisya Starkos: Yours is looking a bit ratty...
PC: It is very special to me.
Loisya Starkos: I may just be able to get you a replacement, of course you would have to do me a favor in return.
PC: I am listening.
Loisya Starkos: There are some...pieces I need collected. You will need to travel quite a bit to retrieve them all for me.
PC: Alright, I'm in.
Loisya Starkos: I'll upload all of the relevant information to your datapad.
She tells you that on completing the quest she will replace your existing elder robes with either the Dark or Light robes. Your choice. You can do this quest even if you want to keep your existing style of elder robe.
You simply have to collect 6 Ancient Relics from 6 planets. These ancient relics do not actually appear in your inventory, which are styled on the unobtainable 'Lava Lamp' seen in the Mustafar Junk Dealer Room.
Retrieve the Ancient Relic from Yavin 4[]
I need to travel to The Temple of Exar Kun on Yavin 4. The Ancient Relic should be somewhere in the area.
Land in Yavin Mining Outpost and ride to The Temple of Exar Kun (POI). The Ancient relic is in the water outside of the temple. Click on it to get a quest update.

Retrieve the Ancient Relic from Tatooine[]
I need to travel to the Krayt Graveyard on Tatooine. The Ancient Relic should be somewhere in the area.
The Ancient Relic can be found in the Krayt Dragon Graveyard (POI). Be careful there, as there are Krayt Dragons about! Click on it to get a quest update.

Travel to Nashal and then ride 1600m to the Relic. Click on it to get a quest update.

I need to travel to the Dulok Village on Endor. The Ancient Relic should be somewhere in the area.
Land in Endor Research Outpost. Ride 2900m. The Ancient relic is found in one of the Dulok Village (POI). The last tent at the back of the camp. Click on it to get a quest update.

I need to travel to the Jedi Temple Ruins on Dantooine. The Ancient Relic should be somewhere in the area.
Land in Dantooine Mining Outpost. Travel to the location of the relic. Click on it to get a quest update.

Speak to Loisya Starkos again.[]
Speak to Loisya Starkos again to receive your new robe.
Once you have collected all six relics, return to Loisya Starkos to complete the quest. Drag your existing robe onto Loisya, then you'll get the pop-up asking which one you'd like in return. Your old robe will be exchanged for the one you chose (Note that this quest only allows an Elder Jedi to exchange his/her Elder Robe for a new one. It doesn't enable an Elder Jedi to have more than one Elder Jedi Robe in his/her possession at the same time).

Loisya Starkos: It is good to see that you have returned safe, %TU. I see that you have brought what I asked for. Now just give me your robe and I will have a new one for you momentarily.
The quest is repeatable.
