If you need work, talk to the Droid Engineer in the Ranged Combat Training Room.
Conversation with a Droid Engineer[]
Droid Engineer: You brought those droid memory modules in, right?
PC: Yes. Is there a problem?
Droid Engineer: Yes. The modules showed that there was some kind of sabotage to them, but the saboteur covered his (or her) tracks pretty well. I'm going to need an intact central processing core.
PC: How do I get an intact core?
Droid Engineer: You are going to have to disable one of the droids and then check the core. It won't be easy, I'm sorry to say.
PC: How will I know if I have an intact core?
Droid Engineer: I'll adjust your datapad to scan for one when one of the droids ceases to function. Once you get a core, bring it back to me.
PC: Ok! I'll come back with the core.
Droid Engineer: Thank you! I'll be here.
Recover a Droid Central Chip[]
Level: 4

Description:
- A droid engineer needs a central processing chip from one of the droids on the lower level. Disable the droids and recover one of those chips.

Use the Elevator to go to the Lower Level[]
Take the elevator to the lower level.
Get a Central Processing Core from the Droid Repair Center[]
Head down the lower level and disable the crazy droids until you find an Intact Central Processing Core. Bring it back to help the Engineer find out who is trying to sabotage the station.
Use the Elevator to go to the Main Level[]
Take the elevator to the main level so you can get your reward.
Return to the Droid Engineer in the Ranged Combat Training Room[]
The Droid Engineer is going to be interested in the chip that you found on the droid. Bring it back to him in the Armory.
Conversation with a Droid Engineer[]
Droid Engineer: Do you have an intact core yet?
PC: Yes. It wasn't easy to get, but here it is.
Droid Engineer: Wonderful! I'll get to work on it right away. I want to find out who is trying to destroy the station.
PC: Other than the Hutts?
Droid Engineer: That's the obvious answer, isn't it? But I'm not convinced that they are the only suspects. Someone else could be using their attack as a cover.
PC: I'll keep my eyes open.
