Ranged weapon is a type of weapon used to deal damage to a target from a range. All ranged weapons deal either energy damage or kinetic damage. Some ranged weapons can deal an additional elemental damage type: heat, cold, acid, or electricity.

- Pistol - short range blasters (typically higher speeds, lower damage, lower special costs)
- Carbine - medium range blasters (average speeds, damage, and special costs)
- Rifle - long range blasters (typically lower speeds, but higher damage & higher special costs)
- Heavy weapon - high damage projectile weapons with slow firing rates and inherent state effects
