Vermon Skeetz

Vermon Skeetz

To start this quest, talk to Vermon Skeetz /wp -4703 -1907 in the Escaped Slave Camp near Tyrena on Corellia. It is useful to do this quest along with the quest Incriminating Evidence in order to have access to all the levels of the Corellian Slaver Bunker.

Conversation with Vermon Skeetz[]

Vermon Skeetz: What do you want?
PC: I'm going in to the slave bunker. I was asking everyone if they needed help.
Vermon Skeetz: No! Leave me alone...wait! I know. You could take care of him for me. Yes, that would do fine.
PC: Take care of who?
Vermon Skeetz: That rot-faced, son of a carrion worm. The man who set me up. Akers is his name. He would steal my food when I was in there. I want you to kill him.
PC: You want me to kill a slave because he stole your food?
Vermon Skeetz: Yes! Kill him. He deserves torture but since I can't do it or be there to watch you do it, just kill him!
PC: You're free now, why would you care anymore?
Vermon Skeetz: It's the principle. Don't you understand? I always have to put up with people like that. I am always getting pushed around. Well this time he'll pay. This time I have somebody that can make things right.
PC: I don't think killing him would make anything right.
Vermon Skeetz: You won't do it?
PC: How about I talk to him? I'll see if he can come apologize.
Vermon Skeetz: Apologize? APOLOGIZE! Aiieeeeee! That's not good enough, he must DIE!
PC: You seem a bit agitated. I think I'll just go over there.
Vermon Skeetz: Kill him! You must kill him!
PC: Bye bye.
Vermon Skeetz: KILL HIM!

Ask About Akers[]

Vermon Skeetz wants you to avenge him, and kill Akers Radch. He holds a terrible grudge - but perhaps there is another way to resolve this matter? He gives you a waypoint to the Corellian Slaver Bunker (/wp -6406 -2141), where Akers is being held. Once you arrive at bunker go to level two and speak with Dulor Norr.

/way -6406 -1951 Dulor Norr;

Conversation with Dulor Norr[]

Dulor Norr: What are you doing here? You're going to get someone killed!
PC: I am looking for a man named Akers.
Dulor Norr: Why are you looking for Akers?
PC: Vermon said I needed to talk to him.
Dulor Norr: Ah, yes. Vermon would want to get to Akers. Look, I don't know where Akers is now. He got moved, but I know those datapads the technicians carry have all the latest information on slave locations.
PC: How do I get one of those datapads?
Dulor Norr: Only way I know for sure, is to lift it off one of the technicians.
PC: Right. I can do that.
Dulor Norr: Good luck, friend. Don't forget to let us out of here, eh?

Get Akers Location[]

Norr tells you the only way to find Akers Radch is to get a datapad from one of the technicians. Kill them to loot the datapad (they are all over the bunker).

Aker's Location[]

"The slave tracking program on the technician's datapad lists Akers as currently being in the high security slave pen. That pen appears to be one level below you."

Talk to Akers[]

Once you find the one you need, find and speak with Akers Radch on the third level.

Conversation with Akers Radch[]

Akers Radch: What's going on here? You're not supposed to be here.
PC: I was sent to find you by a man named Vermon.
Akers Radch: Vermon? Is he ok? Did Kyran get him out?
PC: Why are you concerned?
Akers Radch: Vermon has been through a lot. He's a good guy as long as he gets his medicine. I don't think Kyran had time to get it before they made their escape.
PC: Medicine? Vermon is sick?
Akers Radch: Yes. He's mentally ill. He's ok as long as he takes his medication.
PC: That explains a lot. Do you have his medication?
Akers Radch: No. I suppose you could check the slavers' medical computer and find out if the guards still have it.
PC: Do you know where this computer is?
Akers Radch: I would guess in the sick bay, but I have no idea where that is.
PC: Ok, I will look for it.
Akers Radch: Come back if you find his medicine.

Slice the Medical Computer[]

Once you find Akers Radch, things begin to make sense. Vermon's hatred of Akers is due to Vermon's mental illness. Akers didn't abuse him at all, it was all in Vermon's mind! Akers asks if you can get Vermon's medicine from the medical center, it is the only way to make sure that Vermon is alright. Vermon must have escaped without his medicine. Return to level two and check the Medical Computer for the medication he needs. Find the Medical Computer and slice it. There is a Probulator droid (CL39) here.

Return to Akers[]

Return to Akers Radch and speak with him.

Conversation with Akers Radch[]

Akers Radch: Have you found the medicine?
PC: Yes, I have it right here.
Akers Radch: Good, give it to me. I want to make sure the guards haven't done anything to it.
PC: Here you go. It's just as I found it.
Akers Radch: The seal is unbroken. This is the new package he came in with. Excellent work, friend.
PC: You're welcome.
Akers Radch: Finish what you need to do here, I will get the medicine back to Vermon.

Return to Vermon[]

Leave the bunker and return to Vermon Skeetz for your reward.

Conversation with Vermon Skeetz[]

Vermon Skeetz: Akers came to see me.
PC: Are you better now?
Vermon Skeetz: Much, he brought me my meds. Thanks for not killing Akers. Sometimes I can't think right.
PC: It's ok. You've been through a lot.
Vermon Skeetz: No, it's not ok. Here, I've been hiding this for some time. I think you can use it more than I can now.
PC: Thanks.
Vermon Skeetz: Thank you.
