Conversation with Borvo the Hutt[]

Borvo

Talking to Borvo

Borvo the Hutt: I guess you're all right to talk to. What can old Borvo do for you?
PC: I hear you have a rare and valuable droid part.
Borvo the Hutt: You're kidding. You're looking for that old thing? Hahaha! Well, let's see what we can do about that.
PC: You're willing to give it to me?
Borvo the Hutt: Absolutely! All you have to do is get it out of my vault. The vault security needs to be tested anyway. Good luck!
PC: Wait, I have to get through your security?
Borvo the Hutt: Nothing comes for free my friend. Do you still want it?
PC: I guess I have no choice.
Borvo the Hutt: That's the spirit! I'll even give you some hints to write down in your journal. Come back and see me after. Maybe I'll have something else for you.
PC: Thanks, I guess.
Borvo the Hutt: This will be fun! I'll have to call Jabba and make a bet. Hm...you look small. I think I'll bet against you.

From the RSF Mainframe, access and select:

  • Query: 2. Decentralized Autonomy Chip - the next object of your quest - (then)
  • Query: Last Known Location

You will get a waypoint in Moenia for Borvo the Hutt. Borvo is easy to locate in the back room of the Cantina (4875 -4673). When you speak to him, ask him about the module, and he will banter with you about getting past his security system to test it. He challenges you to find and open Borvo's Vault (4318 -4781).

Note: Once you get to the vault entrance you should create a waypoint because once you find the vault and the quest updates, the location of the vault will disappear. If you die, that can cause problems.

When you arrive at the vault, your journal will update to instruct you to override 8 security code terminals before you can open the vault. The vault can be quite a tangle, and contains the following dangerous NPCs:

Borvos rancor

A rancor on the loose in the Vault

The terminals are located at the following locations within the vault:

/way orange 4243 -4686 Terminal 1;
/way orange 4222 -4572 Terminal 2;
/way orange 4245 -4572 Terminal 3;
/way orange 4272 -4554 Terminal 4;
/way orange 4342 -4559 Terminal 5;
/way orange 4344 -4718 Terminal 6;
/way orange 4405 -4679 Terminal 7;
/way orange 4305 -4627 Terminal 8;

Next, acquire the droid AI you are searching for, found in a terminal at ( /way 4390 -30 -4648; ). Once you have it, head back and brag (um, speak) to Borvo. After you have seen him, head back to the RSF mainframe in Theed. Access the Mainframe to complete this quest and get your next one.

Loot[]

Scattered around the vault are various items marked as 'Locked Box'. These boxes contain either a Borvo Guard Rifle or a Borvo Guard Carbine. Click on each box to open up a window showing the contents and double click the weapon to loot. You can use the weapon (it may be better than what you're using) or sell it to a junk dealer for 1,000cr.

/way green 4337 -4596 Loot Box 1;
/way green 4330 -4608 Loot Box 2;
/way green 4363 -4670 Loot Box 3;
/way green 4266 -4746 Loot Box 4;
/way green 4301 -4556 Loot Box 5;
/way green 4373 -4615 Loot Box 6;
/way green 4348 -4625 Loot Box 7;

Conversation with Borvo the Hutt[]

Borvo the Hutt: You've returned. I trust that means you're making progress.
PC: I defeated the security in your vault.
Borvo the Hutt: I don't believe it! You got through the security? Maybe my hints were too helpful. Well, I owe Jabba 10,000 credits. He told me you'd pull it off. I guess I should have believed him. Here, take this as a reward, I guess. Come back if you ever need any work.
