Game Info[]
The N-1 is an interceptor class fighter and therefore plays the same role as an A-Wing or a TIE Interceptor.
This unique ship was introduced during Chapter 8, however, it cannot be recolored.
Weapons configurations[]
The N-1 has 66k mass, therefore the most common setup will be a re-engineered level 8 weapon. While it's not uncommon for a pilot to use a re'd level 9 or 10, it can be difficult to fit a weapon that large onto the N-1 and still have room for a decent engine, which is one of the most important parts in an Interceptor.
Pilot Comments[]
With a 1.0 speed mod the N-1 is extremely fast. The only difference between the A-Wing and the N-1 is the fact that the A-Wing slides and is therefore harder to hit. With only 65-66k mass, ships like the N-1 are a bit harder to outfit compared to ships like the ETA-2 Actis and the B-22. While using one of these two ships might seem to be a better choice, using a ship such as the N-1 will hone your skills as a pilot in a way that flying an Actis or B-22 will not.
Probably the easiest setup for the N-1 is a Mark IV collection engine and a decent re-engineered level 8 Borstel. This leaves you roughly 28k mass to fit in your other parts.
Using the Mark IV collection engine will give you the original N-1 engine graphic.
