Also make sure you have lots of the supplies from the Reporter so you don't have to make multiple trips back and forth. Just put everything in your backpack to get more and buy supplies from the vendor next to him who gives buffs for the puzzles.

Note: In addition to needing the supplies from the Reporter, you will also need to have the corresponding supplies from the Vendor who is right beside the Reporter. Example: In order to successfully open the Very Old Safes, you will need both the Safe Autodialer, purchased from the Vendor, as well as the Safe Slicer, which the Reporter will give to you free of charge.
