Advice:
1. If you want have the 4 badges from Mealump Collection, you might have to loop this quest nearly 20 times.
You need tools to open these containers, Halden Wes will only give you 24, and you need 240. The tip is to put tools in your backpack, and ask the NPC again (tip provided by ~Wiccapyre/Wiccamoon)
2. In normal time, for each container, you have to find between 4 and 6 combinations (each contains between 2 and 4 numbers).
There are tools (Lock Breaker Augment) which cost 2 lumps for 10 containers and reduce the number of codes needed from 5 to 3 combinations (2-4 numbers but 80% of 4, 5% of 2 15% of 3), purchased from Corellia Times vendor behind Halden Wes (/way -175 -4435) !
If you fail to break the codes, or cancel the interface, you are given a debuff called "Math is Hard" that modifies you Constitution, Agility and Stamina by -50 and lasts for 45 seconds. You cannot attempt to open the container again until this debuff has expired.
Note: In addition to needing the supplies from the Vendor you will also need to have the corresponding supplies from the Reporter who is right beside the Vendor. Example: In order to successfully open the Locked Container, you will need both the Lock Breaker Augment and the Lock Breaker. As mentioned above, the Vendor sells the Lock Breaker Augment, while the Reporter will give you the Lock Breaker, free of charge. One reduces the number of sets of combinations you have to "pick", and the other actually opens the container.
