Conversation with Major Appleton[]
Major Appleton: The Empire requires your services. A Star Destroyer captain has gone rogue and taken control of the ship. Your mission is to help the Empire regain control of that ship.
PC: You can count on me.
Major Appleton: A response worthy of the Empire.
Conversation with Hirael Chindiaye[]
Hirael Chindiaye: Hey buddy, wanna help take over a Star Destroyer? Chance of a lifetime. Imagine what one could do with something like that...yeah, just imagine.
PC: Count me in.
Hirael Chindiaye: Ah good. Word is that some Imperial captain has hijacked and taken control of a Star Destroyer. I aim to wrest control away from him. For me own purposes, so don't even ask.
Conversation with Lieutenant Thulough[]
Lieutenant Thulough: Pssst...c'mere. You interested in one heck of a mission? Word is that an Imperial Star Destroyer has been liberated from the Empire. I need someone capable who can learn more about this. Interested?
PC: Definitely!
Lieutenant Thulough: I knew you would be.
Finding an Escape Pod[]
Go to any starport ticket droid and ask for the location of an Imperial escape pod that has recently turned up and been registered as abandoned.
Fly to the Yavin IV Mining Outpost then radial the Ticket Colector droid and select the retrieve data option.
If you are playing an Imperial, you don't have to do this first task.
Investigate the Escape Pod[]
Travel to the escape pod from the Star Destroyer and investigate. It is on Yavin IV.
Head to the Escape Pod on Yavin IV ( /way yavin4 -2265 -330 Lost ISD Escape Pod; ). Once you arrive there, click on the Security Console near it and your quest will update.
/way yavin4 -2265 -330 Escape Pod;
A No-Trade item is placed in your inventory : A Salvaged Flight Recorder.
Reconfigure the Flight Recorder[]
Reconfigure the flight recorder so that you learn what information it holds.
Radial the Salvaged Flight Recorder and you will see various options available.
If you played the old "Mastermind" game, this puzzle is similar. First, you have to connect 4 wires. You have blue, red, and yellow wires. You have 4 connections. Your task is to connect the wires to the correct connection to activate the flight recorder. If you get a flickering result, it means you have a right color but in the wrong connection. The lit response means the wire is correct. Integrity is the condition of the recorder before it resets itself and you have to start over with a new unknown random combination.
So, the challenge is to get all the wires right before the recorder resets itself, usually after 6 or 7 attempts.
Method A
Start with connection 1. Connect a wire. Select "Test". If an indicator light is "lit" then move on. If not, try another wire.
Move on to connection 2. If a wire was "flickering" from connection 1, try that wire first. It more than likely works in this connection.
Repeat this for the third and fourth connections until you get it right.
Method B
First, put all red wires in the four slots. Note how many lights are lit. Then, put all the blue wires in. Again note how many lights are lit (if no lights you know its yellow, so work on where the red and yellow should go). If you need to keep going, then do the same with the yellow wires.
Sidenote: DO NOT destroy the flight recorder as this will delete the pre-quest, and you will have to start it all over again.
Escape Pod Flight Recorder[]
The flight recorder reveals that former Imperial Captain Sait has taken control of the Star Destroyer and seeks to sell it to the Black Sun.
Major Appleton: Those Black Sun scoundrels must know where the Star Destroyer has been taken. Go to one of their bases and convince them to share that information with you.
Hirael Chindiaye: So the Black Sun plan to purchase the Star Destroyer. Good to know. First things first, though. Let's find out where they've taken the Star Destroyer. Go to one of their hideouts and see what you can find.
Lieutenant Thulough: We cannot allow the Black Sun to get their hands on a Star Destroyer, but first we must find out where it is. Travel to one of the Black Sun hideouts and find out where the Star Destroyer is.
Star Destroyer Location[]
Captain Sait is looking to sell the Star Destroyer to the Black Sun. Go to a Black Sun stronghold on Endor and fight Black Sun members there until you find a datapad revealing the location of the renegade Star Destroyer.
Go to the Smuggler Outpost on Endor and head to the Blacksun Stronghold /way Endor -5197 6962 Black Sun Stronghold;
/way endor -5197 6962 Endor Blacksun Stronghold;
To enter the bunker, bring a group or be ready for a tough fight as the base is filled with CL90 Elites with 35-40k health for the Blacksun Aggressors and 65-70k health for the Blacksun Enforcers. It will take about 8-15 kills to get the datapad revealing the location of the Star Destroyer.
Once you have done that, it will update and tell you to head back to the person who gave you the quest in Aurilia on Dathomir.
Return to Aurilia[]
Return to Aurilia and speak with Major Appleton. / Return to Aurilia and speak with Hirael Chindiaye. / Return to Aurilia and speak with Lieutenant Thulough.
Conversation with Major Appleton[]
Major Appleton: You are a credit to the Empire. But your task is not complete until you have regained control of the Star Destroyer.
Conversation with Hirael Chindiaye[]
Hirael Chindiaye: Hmm...that was the easy part. Now don't mistake me...you done real good, but we're still no closer to actually controlling that Star Destroyer. And even more disturbing...apparently you need an entire army to man one of those things. How'm I ever gonna manage that?
Conversation with Lieutenant Thulough[]
Lieutenant Thulough: Excellent work. Now you just need to get up there and take control of that Star Destroyer for the Rebel Alliance. Why are you laughing?
