In the tradition of Life Day, this painting represents a family patriarch who has passed away.
One painting was awarded to anyone who completed the Life Day Quest, if they had been playing for at least 30 days, effective from December 2004 to January 2005.
The reward was random: Either one of three different Life Day paintings (Life Day Patriarch Painting, Life Day Matriarch Painting or Life Day Kashyyyk Painting) or a Life Day Orb.
Wookiees had the option to get a Wookiee Life Day Robe, instead of a painting or orb.
No longer obtainable since early 2005, the Life Day Patriarch Painting is nowadays considered as a rare item prized by collectors.
