Speak with Nos'lyn in the Close Combat Training Room of Tansarii Point Station to begin this quest.

Conversation with Nos'lyn

Nos'lyn: There's something familiar about you. You have a connection to the Force, do you not?
PC: Yes. I was sent to you by Han Solo.
Nos'lyn: You were sent to me, indeed, but not necessarily by Han Solo. Our paths were meant to cross. Disregard anything negative Captain Solo may have mentioned about the Force. You have awakened the power within yourself. You are strong, but you need to learn control.
PC: I beg your pardon?
Nos'lyn: I can feel your inherent power flowing from you. However, your control needs work. Power can lead to darkness if not controlled. The Dark Side is a terrible place to tread.
PC: I see.
Nos'lyn: I hope you do. Anger makes one dangerous, even for those that are not as strong in the Force as you are. I'd like you to go to the Cantina and talk to a guard there. I sense much turmoil from him. You will know who I am talking about.

Talk to the Angry Guard in the Cantina

Nos'lyn told you about a guard that needs to be calmed down before he kills someone. Go to the Cantina and talk to the guard.

Conversation with the Angry Car'das Gard

Angry Car'das Gard: Go away. I don't want to talk to anyone.
PC: What's wrong?
Angry Car'das Gard: What's wrong? There're pirates in the lower holds, wild creatures in the Atrium, and nothing is being done about it! My sister was killed because of it!
PC: I'm sorry to hear that. It's terrible what happened to her.
Angry Car'das Gard: Yeah, ya think? No one on this station cares and no one will drop those invaders out an airlock. If something isn't done soon, I'll be forced to take control of the situation myself. I have a disruptor rifle that I found in a room below. They'll pay!
PC: Would she want you to become a murderer?
Angry Car'das Gard: I think she would understand. She was...
PC: Would she want you to put the station in more danger?
Angry Car'das Gard: No, but I...
PC: Would she want you to become as monstrous as her killer?
Angry Car'das Gard: I guess not. I'm going to talk to Inaldra and try to get her to see reason.

Nos'lyn: Very good. That guard will be fine when he allows time to heal his grief. Now I want you to use your skills to destroy 7 troublesome droids on the lower level. Notice that disabling them does not disrupt the flow of the Force.

If you choose to badly influence the guard, this quest will stop and another one will start: The Dark Path.

Head Down to the Droid Repair Center

Use the Elevator to go down to the Droid Repair Center. Nos'lyn wants you to go hunt droids.

Disable 7 Droids in the Droid Repair Center

The Droid Repair Center on the lower lever is a good place to practice your skills and learn to feel what happens when a droid 'dies'. It will give you a comparison for when you go up against live foes.

Nos'lyn: You have done well. Now you must learn the delicate balance of life and death. Go to the Atrium and kill 7 Tanc Mites.

You need to head to the main level and then go to the Atrium.

Kill 7 Tanc Mites in the Atrium

Nos'lyn wants you to learn about the balance of life and death. Kill 7 Tanc Mites. Feel what happens to life as it leaves even the lowliest creature.

Nos'lyn: Did you feel the ebb and flow of the life force? Now I want you to take on a more difficult foe. Do not be discouraged if you fall temporarily. Be patient and persistent and kill the Tanc Mite Queen in the Atrium.

Find and Kill Tanc Mite Queen

You are to find the Tanc Mite Queen and defeat her.

Take the Elevator to the Main Level

You need to return to Nos'lyn. Take the elevator to the main level.

Talk to Nos'lyn in the Close Combat Training Room.

Nos'lyn will complete your training in the Close Combat Training room.

Conversation with Nos'lyn

Nos'lyn: Very good. Understanding shines in your eyes. You have the seeds of greatness within you. Remember to temper that with understanding and control.
PC: I will try.
Nos'lyn: If you merely 'try', you will fail. You must 'do'. Everything is a choice. Choose to 'do'. Do not choose to 'try'.
PC: What should I do now then?
Nos'lyn: You should return to Han Solo. He is in need of your help.
