Description
- Both the Rebel Alliance and the Empire are desperately looking for something that was in a recently arrived cargo. One part of the shipment was some how acquired by a Jawa trade party. They have been selling it off piecemeal across Tatooine from their Sand Crawler. After a run in with some Desert Demons you were able to retrieve an inventory of what the Jawa's sold at Tosche Station and where they planned to visit next. ... a place called the Lars' Homestead.

The Lars Homestead is a Tatooine POI which awards a badge for visiting it. It is the site of the Lars family massacre from A New Hope, and is the childhood home of Luke Skywalker. The POI plays a role in the Legacy Quest, detailed below.
Visit Lars' Homestead[]
Travel to the Lars Homestead (-2575 -5517) and talk to Zef Ando when you get there.
Conversation with Zef Ando[]
Zef Ando: Help me! Those droids I bought are destroying everything!
PC: What is going on?
Zef Ando: I bought some supplies and some cheap droids from a Jawa trading party a while ago. The droids that I purchased were supposed to be reprogrammed to maintain moisture harvesters. But they weren't!
PC: They have gone around the bend?
Zef Ando: Yes! They decided that my harvester was too run down to function so they decided to demolish it. They have set a charge that will go off in 60 seconds. Stop them before they detonate the charge! And disarm the explosives!
PC: Just tell me where.
Zef Ando: Run over to my harvesters and disarm the explosives on them!
Disarm the Bomb[]
Zef is having some trouble with his droids. They have gone haywire and are about to blow up the vaporators! To disarm the bombs before they blow, run over to Zef’s harvester (-2581 -5640) and click on the harvester to disarm the bomb. Be careful - there are malfunctioning Battle Droids (CL16) guarding the area. There is also time limit, so be quick. If you fail you must apologize to Zef. He will then give you a quest to kill 10 Greater Desert Womp Rats (CL20, found at /way tatooine -2492 -5393).

Zef Ando: Oh how can I thank you? Those droids were going to ruin me.
PC: Just let me have an inventory of what you bought from the Jawas.
Zef Ando: Sure. Here you go. Just download what you need.
Talk to Zef[]
Once you have dealt with the bomb (or the rats), return to Zef to get a datapad placed in your inventory.
Download Datapad[]
Open your inventory and right click Zef’s Datrapad, and select Download data.
"You retrieved the data on what Zef purchased from the Sand Crawler. Looks like you can intercept the Sand Crawler before it gets to its next stop."
This will complete the Quest.
