Knocked Down is a state you can receive from one of a variety of specials that has the chance to knock you down. While knocked down, you are on your back and thus cannot move or attack; additionally, you will take 20% more damage from all incoming attacks. NPC's and MOB's have a 30 second immunity timer in which the target can't be knocked down again. This timer is referring to the target thus even multiple attackers can not knock down a target during this immunity timer.

Players must use Knockdown Recovery in order to get up before the 30 second timer expires. Non-players will stand up after 5 seconds.

Current implementation status in publish 17: working - it is sometimes necessary to use the Knockdown Recovery Ability more than once to recover from knockdown. There is no official statement, if this is as intended, due to lag or a bug.
