Description:
- Both the Rebel Alliance and the Empire are desperately looking for something that was in a recently arrived cargo. One part of the cargo was "acquired" by a Jawa trade party. They have been selling it off piecemeal across Tatooine from their Sand Crawler. You have succeeded in getting a list of what they sold at its first two stops. Now you have a chance to intercept the Jawas before they get to their next stop.
Recommended combat levels: 10 and higher |
Intercept the Jawa Sand Crawler[]
The datapad you got from Zef points you toward a sandcrawler belonging to Jawas who may have what you seek. Head to the sandcrawler (-3664 -4756); when you get there a new waypoint will be received to an emergancy beacon signal.
FA-2PO: Oh...is this on? Help! Emergency! This is Sand Crawler 345 broadcasting on Emergency Frequency. We are under attack from Tusken Raiders. . .setting emergency beacon...Help! Emergency!
Answer the Distress Call[]
At the location (-3805 -4721) you find FA-2PO, who is concerned about a Sand People attack on his master's sandcrawler.
Conversation with FA-2PO[]
FA-2PO: Oh ... I was sure we were doomed! What?... oh yes... My master says that you have been very kind to help. The Tuskens have looted much of our cargo. They have also looted data disks with our software encryption keys. We need those keys.
PC: Why do you need encryption keys?
FA-2PO: Without those keys my master cannot access his computers, unlock any of these maglocked cargo containers, or activate any of his droids. He is very desperate. He is so agitated that I can barely understand him as it is.
PC: Of course I will help.
FA-2PO: There are four of them that must be recovered. I fear that the Tusken are wearing them as decoration...the cases are very bright and shiny.
PC: I am on my way.
FA-2PO: Good luck.
Kill Tuskens and Collect Encryption Keys[]
The droid asks you to slay 5 Tuskens (CL14). Once these are dead, the droid tells you that he needs 4 encryption keys which have been stolen by another group of Sand People (CL14).
Return to Droid FA-2PO[]
Once you’ve killed enough Tuskens to get the encryption keys, return once more to the Jawas and speak with FA-2PO.
Conversation with FA-2PO[]
FA-2PO: Oh Thank the Maker. hmmm ... I mean ... my master says he wishes to reward you and offers you a choice of these items.
PC: Thank you. I would like to have a brief look at your inventory. Something might interest me.
FA-2PO: My master says ... of course. With the encryption keys that you recovered we once again have access to our database. Here is a complete inventory of what we had at the start of our journey. The things we sold are listed but most of the rest of the inventory survived the raid.
PC: Thank you.
FA-2PO: Just return the datapad when you are done.
Download Jawa Datapad[]
The droid gives you a datapad. Open your inventory, and right click the Jawa Leader’s Datapad to download the inventory. This will complete your Quest.
Captain Carh'la Bastra / Commander Barrezz: Who knew that the Jawas could have scavenged that much? Next I need you to go to a Valarian base. Uploading the information now.
