Insurgent.
Pilot Missions[]
Conversation with Insurgent[]
Insurgent: So you must be %NU. I have been watching your progress for sometime now. I must say that I am very impressed, although there ARE a number of areas where you could use improvement... but we will get to that later.
PC: I am but a simple instrument of the Empire.
Insurgent: Ah, one of those. I have worked with people like you in the past and I haven't had any difficulties. I just require that you keep your mind on the task at hand and do not let your fervor cloud your judgment. As long as you are able to do that, we shall not have any problems.
PC: Who are you?
Insurgent: You may call me Insurgent. And let us just say that, much like you, I only have the Emperor's best interests at heart. I, too, live only to serve.
PC: Ah, a kindred spirit. It will be a pleasure.
Insurgent: As long as you work for me, you will go where I say, when I say, and you will do what I tell you to do. Until that time comes you have no need to know, so let us just keep it that way. For now, I was simply interested in meeting my new pilot face-to-face. I have seen what I need, that is all. Come back and see me a little later. Perhaps I will have something for you then.
Patrol the Dantooine System[]
Conversation with Insurgent[]
Insurgent: You have done very well and it would seem that your skills are improving. I will assist you in your quest for pilot perfection, when man and machine become almost one. What skill would you like to learn? Once you have made your choice, I have a very important task that requires immediate attention.
PC: In what am I to be trained?
Insurgent: I believe you are now ready for experimental TIE vessel training.
PC: I am ready to learn.
Insurgent: Now it is time to put your training to good use. The time has come for us to find out more about who these Velocity mercenaries are. I have my suspicious about who is pulling their strings, but I must be certain before I act.
PC: Ready and willing, sir.
Insurgent: I thought I told you to simply refer to me as Insurgent! I cannot use someone who is incapable of even obeying the simplest of orders.
PC: Sorry, Insurgent. Force of habit.
Insurgent: I see. Must be a military thing. Usually, members of Black Epsilon are not quite so rigid, which is why I like using them. Despite that, I still believe you will do. Now back to the matter at hand. We need to find out more about the Velocity. I want to know everything I can about their operations in this system, especially who they are working for.
PC: How should I proceed?
Insurgent: I have formulated a patrol route that I need you to follow. While on this patrol, you will scan the region for signs of a Velocity officer's vessel. I am hoping that an officer will have valuable information that will allow us to dig deeper into uncovering who they are working for.
PC: Why are you so interested in who hired these mercenaries?
Insurgent: I suggest you simply focus on finding me any information that an officer can produce. If you pay attention, I am sure all will be revealed in time. Now you had best get on with my patrol. I am not well known for my patience.
Dantooine System: Patrol the Dantooine System[]

Conversation with Insurgent[]
Insurgent: Good work, %NU. You managed to gather me some information that might turn out to be very important. I believe that this will lead us on the right direction.
PC: What was in the message?
Insurgent: The message was essentially all in code. There isn't much chance that we will actually be able to find out what it actually told the Velocity. It contained a few phrases, such as, 'the enlightened walks with rancors' and 'keep the skeletons walking the path of misdirection'. Basically if you do not already know what the code words mean you probably will never find out what is being said.
PC: We should capture one of the Velocity and make him tell us what it means.
Insurgent: There is very little need for us to do that. They have left me a very large clue without even knowing they did. Instead of trying to figure out what the message actually said I am going to be looking into where the message originated from.
PC: What can that tell you?
Insurgent: The transmission originated from deep in the Dantooine system, so that is a place to start my search. Also it is a good bet that this message came from whoever hired the Velocity, since the message does appear to be instructions of some sort. For now I will leave you to your own devices. You can continue to take some duty missions from me or go on leave, it really doesn't matter to me. Once I figure out my next move I will let you know.
Capture the Civilian Freighter[]
Conversation with Insurgent[]
Insurgent: You have done very well and it would seem that your skills are improving. I will assist you in your quest for pilot perfection, when man and machine become almost one. What skill would you like to learn? Once you have made your choice, I have a very important task that requires immediate attention.
PC: In what am I to be trained?
Insurgent: I believe you are now ready for heavy starship component training.
PC: I am ready to learn.
Insurgent: Very good. And now I have another little job that I want taken care of. My instincts about searching the area that the transmission originated from have paid off.
PC: What did you find, Insurgent?
Insurgent: It took me a little while but I managed to find the source of the transmission. There is a freighter that appears to be on autopilot flying on the outskirts of the system that sent the signal. I have it on very good authority that my targets were on board that vessel shortly before it sent the signal.
PC: So they are on the freighter?
Insurgent: No. They evacuated the vessel for parts unknown before the message was sent. I am highly surprised that the Velocity did not destroy the freighter, or perhaps they just haven't gotten around to it yet. You must get me that freighter.
PC: Understood, Insurgent. I will retrieve their freighter in one piece.
Insurgent: Be warned that the vessel probably has automatic defenses but since it is just a freighter I doubt they will be any issue for you. Keep your eyes open though, if the Velocity meant to destroy the ship and haven't yet, your taking it will draw them out in a hurry. Good luck, pilot.
Dantooine System: Capture the Civilian Freighter[]
Description:
- Insurgent has somehow discovered the location of an abandoned ship drifting along the outer rim of the system. He wants you to intercept and bring this vessel back so it can be examined. He believes that it might have some significance with his investigation.
Black Epsilon Command: Getting a lock on the drifting ship now. Stand by for coordinates.
Black Epsilon Command: We have sent the vessel's location to your nav computer. It appears to be on autopilot. Disable the vessel's engines and reset the autopilot to return to Imperial space.
Hyperspace to Dantooine, Asair's Ribbon.
Reach your target and disable its reactor and engine, then wait for its route to be reprogrammed. You can begin your escort job. You will have to defeat:
- Wave 1:
- 2 Tier 4 Rihkxyrk "Velocity Mercenary Broadaxe"
- 2 Tier 4 Ixiyen "Velocity Mercenary Rapier"
- Wave 2:
- 2 Tier 4 Rihkxyrk "Velocity Mercenary Broadaxe"
- 2 Tier 4 Kihraxz "Velocity Mercenary Lancer"
- 1 Tier 4 Ixiyen "Velocity Mercenary Rapier"
Watch the way because your escort route will go through a static spawn of 2 tier 3 Black Sun ships.
After this you will receive your next mission.
Communicator: Shuttle is on its way back to Imperial controlled space.
Black Epsilon Command: You have served well. The vessel will be investigated and perhaps we can gain a clue as to why it was here.
Mission Alert: Now that we have the shuttle lets see what else those mercenaries can tell us. Return to mercenary space, disable, and inspect another mercenary officer.
Dantooine System: Inspect the Velocity Mercenary Group Leader[]
Description:
- Remain in the Dantooine system and inspect the Velocity mercenary group leader. Intelligence has report seeing one in the system not far from where you are located.
Hyperspace to Dantooine, Asair's Ribbon
Go to the given waypoint, disable, inspect and dock your target to transfer the Operational Orders.
- 1 Tier 5 Rihkxyrk "Velocity Mercenary Group Leader".
You can begin your next mission:
Mission Alert: Bring those orders to a shuttle that will meet you in Dantooine space. Insurgent wants to get a close and personal look at them. Stand by for nav coordinates.
Dantooine System: Deliver the Clues[]
Description:
- Remain in the Dantooine system and transfer the data to a command shuttle. Insurgent needs that information immediately in order to continue his investigation.
Black Epsilon Command: Proceed to this location to make the dropoff to a command shuttle.
Just go to the rendez-vous point. Fight your way against 4 Tier 4 Rihkxyrk "Velocity Mercenary Broadaxe".
Black Epsilon Command: Wait at this location for the arrival of the lambda shuttle.
You have to dock the Lambda shuttle to deliver the clues.
Communicator: Stand by, pilot. We will be ready to begin the transfer shortly.
Communicator: Beginning docking procedure now. Stand by.
Avoid next waves:
- Wave 1:
- 2 Tier 4 Rihkxyrk "Velocity Mercenary Broadaxe"
- 2 Tier 4 Kihraxz "Velocity Mercenary Lancer"
- Wave 2:
- 2 Tier 4 Ixiyen "Velocity Mercenary Rapier"
- 2 Tier 4 Kihraxz "Velocity Mercenary Lancer"
- Wave 3:
- 4 Tier 4 Kihraxz "Velocity Mercenary Lancer"
Communicator: We have the information. We will return this to command immediately. Oh, and that Insurgent guy wanted to speak with you.
Rewards:
- Credits: 10000 credits
- 150 Imperial Faction Points
- A level 8 Cygnus "Holoscreen" Shield Generator.
Conversation with Insurgent[]
Insurgent: Welcome back. We have the orders you retrieved from the Velocity in our possession and I will be investigating the freighter shortly. So far, you have performed better than I expected you to be able to.
PC: I can do better.
Insurgent: I get the feeling that soon you will have to. Of course, that will not happen until I can have a chance to look into this new information you brought to me.
PC: Understood. I will leave you to your work.
Insurgent: While I am looking into the latest information that you have brought to me, feel free to take some duty missions or...do whatever you wish. Frankly I don't care which, just as long as you become available when I need you again.
Escort the Drop Ship[]
Conversation with Insurgent[]
Insurgent: You have done very well and it would seem that your skills are improving. I will assist you in your quest for pilot perfection, when man and machine become almost one. What skill would you like to learn? Once you have made your choice, I have a very important task that requires immediate attention.
PC: In what am I to be trained?
Insurgent: I believe you are now ready for elite TIE guard training.
PC: I am ready to learn.
Insurgent: Good, but now I have need of your abilities yet again. It would seem that you are now even more important to this operation than ever before.
PC: What does that mean?
Insurgent: The freighter you recovered told me much more than was intended. My targets were careful but not careful enough. Their mercenaries force really made a mistake by not destroying that freighter after it sent its final transmission.
PC: What was it you found?
Insurgent: They wiped the databanks, cleared out the logs, and destroyed the flight recorder but they left behind traces of themselves all over the vessel. It was those traces which have pointed me in the direction of where they went.
PC: So where did they go?
Insurgent: First, I think it is time for me to better explain what my mission is. I am afraid that I am going to have to place much of my responsibility on your shoulders because of circumstances out of my control. It will become far more dangerous for you from here on out.
PC: I am ready for whatever you need me to do.
Insurgent: I hope so. My targets are criminals that have eluded Imperial justice since the days of the Old Republic. The Emperor has been searching for them for a very long time, finally discovered a lead with these Velocity mercenaries, and sent me to deal with these criminals.
PC: Why would the Emperor concern himself with criminals?
Insurgent: Let us just say that these are 'special' criminals who at one time threatened the Emperor. After this much time we finally have a chance to deal out justice on them and cannot allow them to escape again. Do you understand?
PC: I take it they are to be killed?
Insurgent: Yes, once we find them they must be killed. We think that they are attempting to build power, either to help the Rebellion or for their own reasons. That is why they have the Velocity working for them.
PC: It must be expensive to pay for an entire mercenary outfit.
Insurgent: I doubt if these particular people had any problems convincing the Velocity to work for them. They can be very persuasive when they need to be. I would be surprised if the Velocity is being paid, which is why they attack our supply freighters...in order to pay for their operations.
PC: How many of these criminals are there?
Insurgent: Three. Nej'a Bertolo, Onli Shi'en, and Tiberus Anderlock. Every one a very dangerous individual. They were my targets and now they are yours. You are going to have to be the one to finally bring about their demise.
PC: I don't understand. What do you mean?
Insurgent: The freighter you brought back told me everything. Those three used it to help leave the system after your operation started to put the heat on them. They sent the transmission, wiped all the databanks, boarded their fighters, and left the system.
PC: What about the orders I recovered from the Velocity?
Insurgent: Yes, it would seem that those were not quite as important as I originally thought they would be. From what I understand of the code it simply told the Velocity to continue their operations in this system until they were told otherwise.
PC: Hmmm...then where did the criminals go?
Insurgent: They have gone to the one place I cannot follow. They have gone to the Dathomir system.
PC: Why can you not follow them?
Insurgent: Because it has been forbidden for me to follow them there. I do not know why I am not allowed to follow my prey, but I do not question those orders. It will be up to you to finish the job that was started so long ago.
PC: What do I do?
Insurgent: First, we need to make sure they have not taken shelter on the planets surface. I have arranged for a drop ship to send a scan team to the planets surface to begin a sweep of the surface. Of course, once that team is on the surface they will not be able to leave, but they don't know that and there is no reason to tell them.
PC: Completely understood, Insurgent.
Insurgent: Once the team is searching the surface, you will begin searching space. I completely expect that they took a number of their Velocity lackies along with them. Find the Velocity and they will lead us to our targets. There is no where else they can run. Let's get this operation under way. Good luck, %NU.
Dathomir System: Escort the Drop Ship[]
Description:
- The recovered shuttle and the orders on the captured captain suggest that the people you are after went to the Dathomir sector. Insurgent believes that some of them might have landed on the planet's surface and wants to send in a strike team to make sure they never off if they did. The strike team will be dropped in from space and then have to travel to via land to the Imperial prison. They are not aware that this is a one way trip. You are to escort the drop ship safely through the Dathomir system.
Black Epsilon Command: Meet the drop shuttle at the location supplied to your nav computer.
Dathomir system, Hyperspace to Dathomir's Vitality
Black Epsilon Command: Stand by for the arrival of the drop shuttle. Once it arrives, escort it to the drop zone.
Communicator: We have to get these troopers to the drop point. Once over the drop point I will drop the pods and jump out of the sector. Keep an eye out for enemy craft.
Meet the Drop ship, a Tier 4 Lambda Shuttle and escort it.
Communicator: Blast it! More of those mercs!
You will have to fight a wave of:
- 3 Tier 4 Rihkxyrk "Velocity Mercenary Broadaxe"
- 3 Tier 4 Ixiyen "Velocity Mercenary Rapier"
Communicator: We are still on target. The sooner we can get this drop done the sooner we can get out of here.
After this escort the Shuttle will jump and you will receive the next mission.
Communicator: Beginning decent to drop ship depth. That planet sure doesn't look very hospitable. I hope out ground crew makes it okay.
Black Epsilon Command: The ground forces have been dropped onto the planet's surface to begin their sweep. Stand by for further instructions.
Mission Alert: Alert! Alert! Drop shuttle has been attacked and damaged, while attempting to jump out of the sector, by an enemy force. Prepare to offer assistance.
Dathomir System: Rescue the Imperial Drop Ship[]
Description:
- Remain in the Dathomir system and assist the Imperial drop ship with repairs. The drop ship has been hit by the enemy before it could completely get out of the system. The first wave managed to temporarily disable the vessel and scans indicate a second wave moving in. Meet the disabled vessel, assist it with repairs, and protect it while it moves towards the secondary jump location.
Black Epsilon Command: Getting a lock on the last know position of the drop shuttle. Stand by to intercept.
Black Epsilon Command: Proceed to the location provided your navigation computer. Scans indicate that the ship is badly damaged and under heavy attack.
That ship needs some repairs, so dock it to proceed.
Communicator: We are glad to see you. They were all over us and then scrambled out of there just before you arrived. We wouldn't have survived another second without you showing up.
Black Epsilon Command: Beginning docking procedure. Assist in repairs to the best of your ability.
Communicator: Thank you, pilot. We will be restarting our engines now. Oh, one more thing, the leader of the fighters that disabled us was an amazing pilot. Thought maybe he might be someone we are looking for.
Black Epsilon Command: They are attempting to restart their engines now. Stand by to escort ship out of the area.
You will have to escort that ship.
Communicator: Keep them off of us! We cannot take much punishment.
Communicator: I am surprised Nej'a didn't want to take care of you himself.
You are attacked by 1 Tier 4 Kihraxz "Velocity Mercenary Lancer".
Communicator: The drop ship has been safely returned to Imperial space. We must find those responsible. Stand by.
Black Epsilon Command: The drop ship is safe. Stand by for further instructions.
After the ship jump in Hyperspeed, you will receive a patrol mission.
Mission Alert: You are to patrol the area looking for any signs of the enemy fighters. Any officer that you come across is to be disabled and inspected. Insurgent seemed most interested in the shuttle pilot's discription of the fighter leader.
Dathomir System: Patrol the Dathomir System[]
Description:
- The drop ship pilot's description of the enemy flight leader has peeked Insurgent's interest. You are to patrol the region and look for any sign of the enemy. Be on the look out for any enemy officers that might have more information on the enemy flight leader.
Hyperspace to Dathomir's Vitality
Just patrol all given waypoints until you receive your next mission.
Mission Alert: Scans indicate a ship bearing the markings of an officer located. Disable and inspect that ship for their order data.
Dathomir System: Inspect the Velocity Mercenary Flight Commander[]
Description:
- A Velocity mercenary flight commander has been spotted in the Dathomir system. Intercept, disable, and inspect his vessel for who ever he is getting his orders from.
Disable, inspect and Dock the:
- Tier 4 YT-1300 "Unger Furnace (Velocity Mercenary Flight Commander)"
You can now transfer the Orders and return them to Insurgent.
Rewards:
- Credits: 10000 credits
- 150 Imperial Faction Points
- A level 8 Republic Sienar Systems Special Durasteel armor.
Conversation with Insurgent[]
Insurgent: That pretty much confirms my suspicion. The Velocity are in the Dathomir system, which means the targets are as well. We will get those orders you recovered decoded and see if they lead us any closer to our prey.
PC: I think that information should be helpful.
Insurgent: We will begin decoding these orders and see where they lead us. Until then feel free to take some duty missions or go on leave. When you are ready for your next step, we will hunt them down. The time is drawing very near now.
Kill Nej'a Berto'Lo[]
Conversation with Insurgent[]
Insurgent: You have done very well and it would seem that your skills are improving. I will assist you in your quest for pilot perfection, when man and machine become almost one. What skill would you like to learn? Once you have made your choice, I have a very important task that requires immediate attention.
PC: In what am I to be trained?
Insurgent: I believe you are now ready for droid intelligence theory training.
PC: I am ready to learn.
Insurgent: Now back to business. We have Neja' Bertolo! Those orders you brought back to me have finally been decoded and they have Nej'a all over them. He also made a most fatal flaw of placing his coordinates in those orders. Apparently he wanted his men to be able to reach him if he was needed.
PC: When do I leave?
Insurgent: Now, we cannot take the risk that Nej'a will change his staging location. The Empire has waited for many years to bring this criminal to justice... today is that day. Remember he is very dangerous, destroy him quickly. Good luck, %NU.
Dathomir System: Kill Nej'a Berto'Lo[]
Description:
- Travel to the Dathomir system and kill Nej'a Berto'Lo. Insurgent has been able to put all the pieces together and has discovered the location of the first target, Nej'a Berto'Lo. You are ordered to intercept and destroy Nej'a, along with all those who fly with him.
Black Epsilon Command: Scanning sector for target vessel. Stand by.
Dathomir system, Hyperspace to Dathomir's Vitality
Black Epsilon Command: Nej'a Berto'Lo is right where the captured orders said he would be but it appears he is attempting to leave the sector. Intercept and destroy.
Black Epsilon Command: Send a message to our enemies and destroy everyone who was flying with Nej'a.
Destroy all those ships:
- 1 Tier 5 A-Wing "Nej'a Berto'Lo"
- 3 Tier 4 Rihkxyrk "Velocity Mercenary Broadaxe"
- 4 Tier 4 Kihraxz "Velocity Mercenary Lancer"
Black Epsilon Command: The Emperor will be most pleased with your success. You have no idea of what you have just accomplished. Stand by for further instructions.
Then you are sent to your next mission.
Mission Alert: During your battle with Nej'a Berto'Lo, we discovered the presence of a Velocity communications ship nearby. Capture and escort that ship for the Empire.
Dathomir System: Capture the Velocity Smuggler[]
Description:
- Just before his destruction, Nej'a sent out a signal to another vessel. This vessel probably will have information on the other two targets. Capture and bring the Velocity smuggler back to Insurgent.
Black Epsilon Command: Tracking communications ship. Stand by for nav coordinates.
Black Epsilon Command: Location updated in your nav computer. It would appear that the communications ship is attempting to flee. Track it down and capture it.
Destroy the escort of your target:
- 4 Tier 4 Kihraxz "Velocity Mercenary Lancer"
- 4 Tier 4 Ixiyen "Velocity Mercenary Rapier"
Then Disable your target: 1 Tier 4 YT-1300 "Velocity Smuggler".
Communicator: I will not be offline for very long! I know I can get this thing working again.
Communicator: You really don't know what is going on do you? Our masters are more powerful then one such as yourself can ever understand.
Communicator: You might take us but our masters already are aware of what you have done. You should be be prepared to feel the retribution of a jedi.
The Autopilot will be reprogrammed to return the ship into Imperial space.
Communicator: Do not let me be dishonored by being captured, my brothers.
You are asked to escort that ship safely.
- Wave 1:
- 5 Tier 4 Rihkxyrk "Velocity Mercenary Broadaxe"
- Wave 2:
- 5 Tier 4 Ixiyen "Velocity Mercenary Rapier"
- Wave 3:
- 5 Tier 4 Kihraxz "Velocity Mercenary Lancer"
- Wave 4:
- 5 Tier 4 Rihkxyrk "Velocity Mercenary Broadaxe"
Communicator: Successfully recovered enemy vessel.
Black Epsilon Command: We will begin our scans of the vessel to see if we can discover any lead on the location of the other two. Stand by for further instructions.
Mission Alert: Warning! Enemy fighters incoming at high speeds with weapons armed.
Dathomir System: Destroy the Velocity Ambush[]
Description:
- Destroy all attacking Velocity fighters.
Destroy all those ships:
- 8 Tier 4 Rihkxyrk "Velocity Mercenary Broadaxe"
Then proceed to next step:
Mission Alert: Attention all pilots. Enemy forces have attacked our Dathomir TIE defense squadron. That squadron is vital to the control of the system. Protect it at all cost and defeat the enemy fighters.
Dathomir System: Defeat Tiberus Anderlock in Battle[]
Description:
- A highly important TIE squadron has been attacked by enemy forces. The enemy is being lead by your second priority target. You must protect the TIE squadron and destroy all the attackers, including Tiberus Anderlock.
Black Epsilon Command: Proceed to navigation waypoint supplied to you. That TIE squadron must be protected in order to keep enemies from the area. While you are at it destroy every enemy fighter, especially Anderlock.
Black Epsilon Command: TIE squadron regrouping to defend against assault.
Tiberus Anderlock
Black Epsilon Command: Scans indicate presence of large enemy force massing for attack on TIE squadron.
To help you on that task 5 Tier 4 TIE Interceptor are sent to you. Stay with them until the attack begins. You will have to fight:
- 1 Tier 5 X-Wing "Tiberus Anderlock"
- 3 Tier 4 Rihkxyrk "Velocity Mercenary Broadaxe"
- 3 Tier 4 Kihraxz "Velocity Mercenary Lancer"
- 3 Tier 4 Ixiyen "Velocity Mercenary Rapier"
You can go to your next mission.
Mission Alert: Anderlock sent out a distress signal in his last moment. Tracing signal reveals that the vessel that received the signal is attempting to leave the sector. Track and destroy this vessel.
Dathomir System: Kill Onli Shi'en[]
Description:
- Remain in the Dathomir system and kill Onli Shi'en. Anderlock made a fatal error right before he perished. His distress signal gave away the position of the last priority target, Onli Shi'en. Onli is attempting to escape from the Dathomir system.
Black Epsilon Command: We are getting a lock on the location of the ship that received the distress signal now. Stand by.
Black Epsilon Command: We have a lock on the vessel. It is Onli Shi'en, the last of the enemy we are hunting. Destroy him and all that are flying with him.
You have to destroy all ships:
- 1 Tier 5 KSE Firespray "Onli Shi'en"
- 3 Tier 4 Rihkxyrk "Velocity Mercenary Broadaxe"
- 3 Tier 4 Kihraxz "Velocity Mercenary Lancer"
- 2 Tier 4 Ixiyen "Velocity Mercenary Rapier"
Black Epsilon Command: You are a true servant of the Emperor. Make you final report to your commander.
After this you can return to Insurgent.
Rewards:
- Credits: 10000 credits
- 150 Imperial Faction Points
- A level 8 Republic Sienar Systems Advanced Military Grade Reactor
Conversation with Insurgent[]
Insurgent: You have done very well. There are not many people in this entire galaxy who can out-pilot one Jedi much less three.
PC: I figured that is who we were after.
Insurgent: Really? Perhaps you have learned to read between the lines. The Emperor is most pleased with the outcome of this situation. You have done very well.
PC: What I want to know is who you are?
Insurgent: Too bad. Good bye, %NU. Nice work out there.
Insurgent will then tell you that you have a new assignment and you have to talk with Grand Admiral Niall Declann in Theed Palace.
Conversation with Insurgent[]
Insurgent: So, you seem to have made a fan. I can tell by your look that you do not have any idea what I am talking about. I have just received orders from High Command that you are being transferred.
PC: Transferred? Who am I being transferred to this time?
Insurgent: I have been ordered to have you moved under Nial Declann's command. I am not very used to taking orders from one quite so low but since I am through with you I see no reason to fight him on this. You are to report to Theed palace and present yourself to Nial immediately.
PC: Nial Declann? Grand Admiral Nial Declann!
Insurgent: One and the same. One of the original members of the twelve Grand Admirals of the Imperial Fleet, member of the High Council, and personal favorite to the Empire. Overall a very unpleasant man. But it is never wise to make enemies when one can avoid it, which is why you are going to report to him immediately.
PC: You have the authority to choose to obey a Grand Admiral? Insurgent, who are you?
Insurgent: Having the authority to ignore a Grand Admiral's order is very different than actually using that authority. Just because someone can do something doesn't always mean that they should. I am Insurgent and I am but a humble servant of the Emperor. Now, I suggest you do not keep the Nial waiting. While I might be able to get away with it you most certainly cannot.

Conversation with Insurgent[]
Insurgent: I've been expecting you. And you are late. There is much to be done. Are you ready?
PC: Of course.
Insurgent: A new group of mercenaries, calling themselves the Velocity, have moved into the Dantooine system. I have reason to believe that they are connected to my ultimate targets but more investigation will be needed in order to confirm that suspicion. But for now I need someone to start reducing the numbers of these Velocity mercenaries to a more manageable level.
PC: Who are your ultimate targets?
Insurgent: All in good time. You are not quite ready for that challenge yet. The next task would be protecting the interests of the Emperor in this system. The Velocity mercenaries have been attacking Imperial military freighters, most likely in order to increase their own combat capability. We need escorts to protect our freighters from these attacks.
PC: Sounds easy enough.
Insurgent: Of course. Another task that has need for a good pilot is to cull the smuggling aspects of the Velocity mercenaries. It would seem that they are moving the supplies stolen from us to other systems. We need someone to break their supply lines and capture the vessels carrying these goods. The Empire wants its property back.
PC: Anything else?
Insurgent: The Velocity mercenaries have been targeting Imperial ships, as you know. They've left several ships adrift most likely to be picked up at a later time. We need a pilot to meet those ships, assist with repairs, and bring those valuable craft safely back to Imperial hands.
PC: I understand. I would like to take a duty mission.
Insurgent: What duty mission would you like to undertake?
PC: Shooting down mercenaries? That's not business; that's pleasure. / I can escort those ships, no problem. / I hate smugglers. I'll take that job. / Sure. I'll get those ships.
