The Emperor's Retreat sits upon a hill at +2400 , -3900 on Naboo. It is just west of Moenia, which also serves as the best place to shuttle and cloning if you wish to have easy access to these missions.
The NPCs that give out these missions (in order) are Chamberlain Kaja Or'Zee, Inquisitor Loam Redge, Lord Hethrir, Captain Thrawn, Colonel Veers, the Emperor, and Darth Vader.
- The Methods:
- Method 1 : The Absent-minded Kiter. When I mention "Method 1" I am referring to the ability to engage a creature and not result in combat. You will approach a likely hostile creature, let him engage you, then run around with him in very close proximity until he breaks contact. At that point, you will turn around and engage him in conversation as if he didn't just chase you 150m or more trying to kill you. This is an important method.
- Method 2 : Assassination. This method consists of using other members of your group or your pets as fodder while you concentrate on killing the mission target, then escaping as soon as it pays out the experience.
The original Imperial Theme Park has been revamped with new quests and content with the release of Chapter 6.12.
Kaja Or'Zee[]
Kaja is located at the door to the Retreat, you can't miss her. She's an ugly old hag that you will grow to hate, she's also the only one who can let you into the main rooms of the retreat, so treat her nice to her face and do what she wants. Kaja will give you five missions, two escort and three destroy.
Mission 1: Escort the Governer[]
Reward: 75 credits
Conversation with Kaja Or'Zee[]
Kaja Or'Zee: Greetings, citizen. I am Kaja Orzee, Administrative Assistant to the Emperor, Himself. I am assuming you are here so that you may help serve the Empire, am I correct? We are in need of an armed escort to assist in the transportation of an important official. Do you wish to serve the Empire in this manner?
PC: Why aren't you sending a squad of Stormtroopers to do so?
Kaja Or'Zee: Recently, one of the Empire's Moffs has been receiving death threats from an unknown sender. We are currently investigating the source of these threats - Rebel terrorists, no doubt - but the safety of the Moff's life is in jeopardy at this time. The less attention to the escort, the safer he will be.
PC: Yes, I wish to serve the Empire in this capacity.
Kaja Or'Zee: You will be escorting a Moff of a local system to meet with other officials here within the Emperor's retreat. You will be expected to treat the Governor with proper respect, and see to it that no harm comes to him during his travel. You may depart now, for the Governor is waiting.
This mission will randomly spawn a very lost governer in the nearby wilderness which you must go out, talk to, and let him follow you back to Kaja. You are only required to talk to him then return to her, if he dies enroute, thats his problem, you still get paid.
Conversation with Kaja Or'Zee[]
Kaja Or'Zee: A superb job, citizen. The Moff spoke highly of your efficiency. He did mention that you might be deserving of some compensation for your assistance.
Mission 2: The Rebel Sympathizer[]
Reward: 150 credits
Conversation with Kaja Or'Zee[]
Kaja Or'Zee: Greetings again, citizen. There has been progress made on the threats with the Moff, and the Empire has need of you again. Imperial sector police have recorded a conversation detailing someone hiring an assassin to murder the Moff. The Empire needs you to track down this person that paid for the contract and retrieve the evidence. Will you do so?
PC: Wouldn't you want to track down the assassin first?
Kaja Or'Zee: You are dealing with the Empire here, not some ragtag band of misguided Rebels. We have already detached a team of sector police to track down the assassin, citizen. What we need is someone to track down the Rebel sympathizer who placed the contract. We are hoping you will not scare him away before dealing with him.
PC: Yes, I will track him down for the Empire.
Kaja Or'Zee: Very good, then. He will probably still have receipts of his payment to the assassin, so detain him so that you can bring him and his records here. If he does not cooperate, you are authorized to use force if necessary. Here is the location where our droids have last spotted him. Please make haste.
This mission will randomly spawn a rebel sympathizer plus two or three (I've had both) Rebel Corporal's to guard him. They are all white to a group of three with specialist level skills, but if you eliminate the Corporal's first, you can then engage the Sympathizer alone.
Conversation with Kaja Or'Zee[]
Kaja Or'Zee: It is a shame he wouldn't reason with you. Then again, not all of them are misguided, I guess - some are just plain evil, and need to be taken care of accordingly. I hope the Interrogation team can use this information to find his accomplices. Please accept this compensation for your assistance.
Mission 3: The Assassin[]
Reward: 225 credits
Conversation with Kaja Or'Zee[]
Kaja Or'Zee: Oh, it's good you stopped by right now. We have just been informed that the Sector Police have found the assassin, but they are not equipped to handle someone of his caliber. Shall I tell them that I will be sending a specialist out there to assist them with his capture?
PC: Don't you have any special teams designed for this type of work?
Kaja Or'Zee: Yes, we do, but we cannot dispatch the Guards. If we did, who would be there to protect the defenseless Emperor? You handled the previous situation with such professionalism, that I feel you can handle this with ease. In addition, you will be doing your part to scour this galaxy of another Rebel murderer.
PC: Yes, please let them know that. I will deal with this assassin myself.
Kaja Or'Zee: I shall inform them immediately - they will be glad to hear you are on your way. Again, try to get the assassin to give himself up so that we can hand him over to the Emperor's Inquisitors. If he is as recalcitrant as was his partner, you are again authorized to use whatever force is necessary. Good luck!
This time, the Hag wants you to go kill an assassin that has been reported to be in the area. He is white/yellow to a group of three specialists and will put up a good fight. Bring a buddy or two and kill him.
Conversation with Kaja Or'Zee[]
Kaja Or'Zee: Our Inquisitor, will be upset to hear the assassin did not come peacefully. But it was to be expected. You cannot trust their kind, I say. If only they would try to work with the Emperor rather than against him. Oh, and the Inquisitor would like you to have this compensation. He feels you may have earned it.
Mission 4: The Droid Programmer(s)[]
Reward: 300 credits
Conversation with Kaja Or'Zee[]
Kaja Or'Zee: Good news, citizen! We have tracked down the way the death threats were being sent to the Moff. It appears that there was a group of Rebel terrorists, not just one acting alone. We need someone to 'sneak' into their midst and remove their ability to cause any more damage. Are you willing to serve the Empire this way?
PC: Do they know we're on to them yet?
Kaja Or'Zee: No, not yet. It seems that with the receipts for the "hit" contract, there was an address. An address that led us right to them... the droid repair shop the Moff used to give his droids tune-ups. They've been planting listening devices in his droids the whole time! Either way, they don't know their leader is dead yet, so surprise is on now on our side.
PC: I'd be happy to root out this Rebel scum! Yes, I'll do it.
Kaja Or'Zee: I knew you could be counted on, citizen. Here, this is where you can find these rebel terrorists. Try to take care of them before they hatch another plan that might cause untold numbers to lose their lives, as some of them have been *VERY* willing to do in the past. Ask them to surrender, and if not, end their terror.
This time, droid programmers are your targets. They made something naughty and Kaja wants them destroyed. There will be 1 -or- 2 Droid programmers plus two or three Rebel Corporal's to guard them. They are all white to a group of three and the programmers love to hang out with the local snake population so be careful, the snakes whip groups fast.
Conversation with Kaja Or'Zee[]
Kaja Or'Zee: Once again, you have performed your duties admirably, citizen. I hope they didn't give you too much of a fight. When will these Rebels ever learn? They cannot fight the Empire, for we are on the side of right! Violence doesn't solve problems, laws do! *sighs*
Mission 5: Retrieve the lost Droid[]
Reward: 75 Imperial faction points
Conversation with Kaja Or'Zee[]
Kaja Or'Zee: Ah, citizen! It seems that one of the Moff's droids had not been altered and survived the last assault, though it is badly damaged. We need that droid recovered, for it may have information that can be used by the Empire. Would you be willing to assist in its recovery and escort it back here?
PC: What's so special about this droid?
Kaja Or'Zee: This droid was a RA-7 model whose loyalty programming was of a new design. One in which we should apply to all of our droids, were it my decision. This was the droid that confirmed the location of the Rebels. With all their propaganda about their 'Heroic' droids, I'd love those Rebels to hear that we have some heroic ones of our own, too!
PC: By all means! I'll bring that heroic droid back here on the double!
Kaja Or'Zee: Though I know it is a simple task, it is still important, which you seem to understand. You will find the droid in the surrounding wilderness region, based off of its last transmission. Please return that RA-7 model here safely.
This is an escort mission. Head to your waypoint, talk to the droid and bring him back to Kaja. You'll be doing a lot of this. After you successfully complete this mission, you can enter any part of the Retreat.
Conversation with Kaja Or'Zee[]
Kaja Or'Zee: Wonderful! You have performed in such an exacting manner, I'm certain the Emperor will want to hear of your achievements. Good work, citizen! I shall write you a wonderful letter of recommendation and have it placed in your record. Have yourself a good day, and may the Emperor live forever!
Inquisitor Loam Redge[]
The Inquisitor is directly inside the main hall to the left. The wall skillfully hides the door, but it will slide to the side when you enter. Soon as you pass the place you formerly couldn't because Kaja was being a pain, turn left, he's standing right there waiting to tell you what to do.
Mission 1: Apprehend a Noble[]
Reward: 375 credits
Conversation with Inquisitor Loam Redge[]
Inquisitor Loam Redge: Greetings, citizen. I am Loam Redge, Chief Imperial Inquisitor here on Naboo. I have been told you are a resourceful person, and quite willing to serve the Empire's need. I have an assignment for you that consists of apprehending a suspect and bringing him to me for questioning.
PC: What is this person charged with?
Inquisitor Loam Redge: I have just... learned... that there is a convicted slicer who has recently escaped from Kessel and is now here on Naboo to meet with some Rebels. He is quite infamous for resisting many of our techniques, but I myself have yet to... converse... with him. You will be gathering up a known Rebel sympathizer who may know his of present location.
PC: Hm...Sure. I'll do it.
Inquisitor Loam Redge: This Rebel sympathizer has been quite open with his traitorous views, therefore he will not be too difficult to find. Since he naively believes that the Empire does not know of him, he should not be too difficult to apprehend. Return here when you have him in your custody.
There is a noble who thought he could help the rebellion and escape imperial notice. He was wrong, head to the waypoint, talk to him, and get him to come back to the Retreat to complete this mission. (You can kill him, but I never actually had to)
Conversation with Inquisitor Loam Redge[]
Inquisitor Loam Redge: From the looks of him, I do not think this will be a long session. In the meantime, here is compensation for your assistance.
Mission 2: Bring a Rebel Leader in for Questioning[]
Reward: 450 credits
Conversation with Inquisitor Loam Redge[]
Inquisitor Loam Redge: You've shown up just in time, citizen. Our prisoner has been quite forthcoming with his information, and fortunately for him, he didn't resist too much, which is a good thing. I do so hate it when they insist on being stubborn. Regardless, he has clued us into a meeting some underground Rebels will be having soon, and I'll need you there.
PC: What happened to the sympathizer I brought in earlier?
Inquisitor Loam Redge: Ah, him. Well, since he was quite cooperative during his questioning, there will be no need to bring him up on charges. Not all of these sympathizers have destruction in their hearts, they've just been seduced by the lies the Rebels use to sway the masses. Now, will you be able to make it to their meeting on time?
PC: I'll do it. What shall I do when I'm there?
Inquisitor Loam Redge: When you bust up their meeting, you will need to identify which one of them is the leader, and convince him to come in for questioning. Do not resort to force, for he is too valuable to have a fight break out between you. I will be better able to convince him of the error of his ways. Please leave quickly or you'll miss the meeting.
This gentleman will spawn when you accept this mission. Go talk to him and drag him back in for questioning, he'll come quietly.
Conversation with Inquisitor Loam Redge[]
Inquisitor Loam Redge: Superb work, citizen. I hope he did not bore you with his incessant blather about the Empire. He should prove a bit tough to persuade him to speak, but it will give me a good challenge, and I don't get too many of those as of late.
Mission 3: Intercpet the Slicer[]
Reward: 525 credits
Conversation with Inquisitor Loam Redge[]
Inquisitor Loam Redge: Well, it took some time, but he finally broke down. I hate it when they struggle... it would be so much easier on them if they just gave in. It seems that once again, I was able to garner his information just in time. There is a Rebel that is bee-lining to their off-world contacts to give them the slicer's data. Intercept him, quickly.
PC: What is the Rebel carrying that is so important?
Inquisitor Loam Redge: The Rebel leader didn't know. That data was stolen from some Secret Imperial Databanks and has been hidden since the slicer was incarcerated. Accordingly, the information is encrypted in such a way that only their Rebel High Command can view it. The Emperor seemed to feel this was most important, as well.
PC: I'll do it. What shall I do when I'm there?
Inquisitor Loam Redge: That's the spirit, citizen! Get the datapad the courier is carrying, and bring it back here immediately. If he gives up on his own accord, bring him and the datapad back here immediately. From the sounds of his orders, though, I doubt it will be that easy. I will settle for just the datapad, if events turn out that way.
This slicer is easy, you walk up to them and kill her. It took one shot.
Conversation with Inquisitor Loam Redge[]
Inquisitor Loam Redge: No courier, I take it? Hmmm... a shame he didn't come willingly - he could have led us to more of their contacts. Well, at least I can hand over these plans... er... personnel files to the Emperor.
Mission 4: Capture the Leader[]
Reward: 125 Imperial faction points, random Stormtrooper armor piece
Conversation with Inquisitor Loam Redge[]
Inquisitor Loam Redge: Ahhh... hopelessness is always a good tool to use when someone won't talk. It's much more effective than intense pain, I do say. Oh. Where was I? Yes, the leader. He has finally revealed where the slicer has holed up. He needs to be captured before he finds out his cover has been blown. Do this quick!
PC: Why all of this effort to catch an escaped slicer, of all people?
Inquisitor Loam Redge: Aside from the fact that he escaped from an Imperial prison, defied the Empire by slicing into military computers, and aiding the Rebels? Not much, other than the fact that he nearly gave the Emperor's secret plans to the ...er... citizen, you are not cleared for that information. Now, will you get out there and apprehend him for me?
PC: He will be captured in a timely fashion!
Inquisitor Loam Redge: You will find the Slicer doesn't know you're coming, so a little surprise will be all you'll need to get him to cooperate. I know you are thoroughly capable of handling this, citizen. *smiles* This is why I told the Emperor that I would entrust it to you. Needless to say, do not fail him.
This slicer is the leader of the group you've been bringing to the Inquisitor. Head out to the waypoint and use METHOD 1 to talk to him. After you do, head back to the Retreat.
Conversation with Inquisitor Loam Redge[]
Inquisitor Loam Redge: Wonderful... wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. I am told that the Emperor personally wishes to explain to this slicer how important it is to not steal from the Empire.
Lord Hethrir, Procurator of Justice[]
The Procurator is on the otherside of the Emperor's Elevator from the Inquisitor. Much like the Inqui's door, Hethrir's is skillfully hidden. Walk up to him and his broken bot named Bug and he will start bossing you around immediately..
Mission 1: Locate a counterfieter[]
Reward: 600 credits
Conversation with Lord Hethrir, Procurator of Justice[]
Lord Hethrir: Your loyalty has been brought to my attention. I have been assured you are willing to do anything to continue to prove your loyalty to the Empire, am I right? Good. You are commanded to locate a small-time counterfeiter who is offering to sell the Empire some information. You will be the contact to do business with him.
PC: You're the Procurator of Justice, right? Why are you dealing with mundane tasks such as this?
Lord Hethrir: It has come to my attention that there are some residents living nearby that were originally from Alderaan. These 'refugees' are more than likely up to something and the counterfeiter claims to have a holodisc with recorded suspicious activities on their part. You are now done with asking frivolous questions.
PC: Yes, sir, I understand. What business shall I perform?
Lord Hethrir: You will gather the holodisc he is selling, and pay him with a quick death. The Empire does not negotiate with terrorists, nor do we pay good credits for information leading to them. His demise will provide ample message to others that we do not barter like simple merchants.
The first thing Hethrir wants you to do is locate an information counterfieter and buy the information off of him, then eliminate him. Well, you really only have to eliminate him. Don't even bother talking, let your blaster do it for you. Easy kill.
Conversation with Lord Hethrir, Procurator of Justice[]
Lord Hethrir: Excellent. I will review this holodisc to see if that lowlife actually had anything worth reporting. Now, for some compensation...let's see what I have...Ah, yes. This will do quite nicely.
Mission 2: Eliminate the Owner of a Rebellion Meeting House[]
Reward: 675 credits
Conversation with Lord Hethrir, Procurator of Justice[]
Lord Hethrir: This holodisc confirms exactly what I believed. These are the ones who have been spreading the recent appearance of Rebel propaganda. I will not tolerate this happening right under my nose. Together, we will eliminate this threat. First, you will need to punish the Rebel who has offered his home as a meeting place.
PC: What was recorded on that holodisc?
Lord Hethrir: The holodisc contained some recorded images of these Alderaanians meeting at a safehouse. These are the ones that are claiming Alderaan was destroyed by use of an Imperial weapon. We both know that the truth is Rebel terrorists blew up the planet's core to try gain sympathy for their cause, right? Right?
PC: Yes, this Rebel needs to be punished. How shall I do it?
Lord Hethrir: Your devotion is well noted. You will meet with the owner of the Alderaanian's meeting house, and eliminate him from the picture. Since he is the hub of these propagandists, he should have a datapad that should provide information on their leader. Locate that, for that is just as important.
This gentleman owned the place where that counterfeiter met with the rebellion. He must pay. Locate him at the waypoint provided and eliminate him. Its easy.
Conversation with Lord Hethrir, Procurator of Justice[]
Lord Hethrir: I hope you made his lesson quite painful, yes? Good... that's what I wanted to hear. These Rebels should be rewarded with exquisite pain to repay them for all they have caused the Emperor. I will have Kaja go through this datapad and recover names. As for you, please accept this compensation as an expression of my gratitude.
Mission 3: Eliminate the Leader of the Rebel Group[]
Reward: 750 credits
Conversation with Lord Hethrir, Procurator of Justice[]
Lord Hethrir: The datapad you recovered was most helpful. It contained all of the names and locations of these propagandist instigators. It also showed that a message was sent to warn their leader they have been found out. You were quite sloppy, weren't you? I have a plan to bring him out of hiding, though. You will help with this.
PC: What is this plan of yours, if I may ask?
Lord Hethrir: According to this datapad, the leader's mentor retired from the Imperial Navy three years ago, then later went on to help General Bel Iblis orchestrate the destruction of the Death Star. A message from his teacher may help convince the leader to come out of hiding. I am certain when you are done, that message will get to him loud and clear.
PC: What do you need me to do, Lord Hethrir?
Lord Hethrir: You will take the fight to our man's mentor, exterminate the old troublemaker, this should drive the point home. I know you will not fail me again, will you?
This was the person who met with the Counterfieter at the Meeting House. Go kill him. Another one hit wonder. This is getting to easy.
Conversation with Lord Hethrir, Procurator of Justice[]
Lord Hethrir: Sector Police have received a report of a local citizen having experienced an 'unfortunate' accident. This is the price one pays when they cross the Empire. It's a shame all of those wretched Alderaanian's weren't home when their world ceased to exist. It shouldn't be too much longer before the leader breaks his silence... then... we will have him.
Mission 4: Deliver a HoloDisk to a Holonet Broadcaster[]
Reward: 825 credits
Conversation with Lord Hethrir, Procurator of Justice[]
Lord Hethrir: The foolish Alderaanian propagandist has done exactly as expected. He has come out of hiding, and has begun to make a nuisance of himself. Finally, I will crush this annoyance, once and for all. But first, one thing. I will need you to deliver this 'special' holodisc to the local holonet broadcast station.
PC: What is so 'special' about this particular holodisc?
Lord Hethrir: I had taken the liberty to place a holodisc recorder upon your person during these assignments, which have captured all you have done. Your loyalty will be rewarded, so have no fear. This particular disc has been edited in such a manner that all of your actions appear to have been done by the propagandist, not you.
PC: You can place your trust in me, Lord.
Lord Hethrir: The Holonet broadcast station has been contacted by an 'anonymous citizen'. The 'citizen' claims to have visual proof as to who is responsible for these recent acts of violence. You will act as the courier for the 'citizen' and deliver them the holodisc. Make sure they get it.
Locate the Holonet Broadcaster at your waypoint. He will attack you, use method #1 to communicate with him, then wander off. Killing him will result in a failed mission, make sure you get away w/o doing it.
Conversation with Lord Hethrir, Procurator of Justice[]
Lord Hethrir: The Holonet station has contacted the Empire to let us know they know they have some 'important evidence'. Good work. They are preparing to broadcast the holo to the public, then will give us the holo as evidence. What I would give to be there to watch the Rebel propagandist's face when he watches this broadcast. This compensation is for your assistance.
Mission 5: Bring a Serial Killer to Trial[]
Reward: 175 Imperial faction points, Imp medallion with +3 intimidation skill mod
Conversation with Lord Hethrir, Procurator of Justice[]
Lord Hethrir: Sector Police have reported they have captured a local serial killer, the one shown on the most recent Holonet broadcast. It seems the public were the ones who apprehended him. Now that they have seen what evil that Rebel leader was capable of, they will no longer believe his lies. Bring him to me for his trial.
PC: I don't think I understand what you're talking about, my Lord. Can you please explain?
Lord Hethrir: *sighs* Rather than making the propagandist a martyr in the eyes of the public, he has now become a reviled villain. My function as the Procurator of Justice will be to try this man. With the evidence we have creat - er - received, this will be all that is necessary to convict him in the eyes of the public. Is your simple mind able to comprehend that?
PC: Now I understand! I am honored to help with this.
Lord Hethrir: Very good. A local mob of citizens has gathered him up and brought him to the Sector Police. The Emperor has given a statement that his crimes will be tried by the Procurator of Justice, myself. You are to escort him to me for his... swift... trial. Make haste, for I am looking forward to this.
A serial killer thinks he is being brought in for questioning by the Procurator of Justice. Go out into the wilderness and find him at the waypoint then escort him back to see Lord Hethrir. Easy mission.
Conversation with Lord Hethrir, Procurator of Justice[]
Lord Hethrir: Yesss.... By the look in his eye, his spirit has already been broken. When he hears that he will be charged with 3 counts of murder, destruction of property, and being part of the Rebel plot to destroy Alderaan, well... I'm certain the horror in his eyes will increase ten-fold. Ahh...exquisite. I shall let the Emperor know of your... assistance... with this.
Captain Thrawn[]
Captain Thrawn is on the balcony inback of the retreat. You access it by going through the door right next to Lord Hethrir's door, then going down the hallway and making the first left at the fork the going straight out the small door. He's standing (currently naked and blue) next to Colonel Veers outside. He's a bit nicer, but in a mean way..
Mission 1: Escort A Commander to Safety[]
Reward: 900 credits
Conversation with Captain Thrawn[]
Captain Thrawn: I have been informed that you are a resourceful person, which I am in need of at this time. A strike force sent to apprehend some criminals has met an unfortunate end. I have received notification that the Commander of this team managed to survive. It is imperative that he be escorted back here safely.
PC: Sir, if I may ask, what happened to the strike team?
Captain Thrawn: We are still unaware of the full details at this time. All we know is that the transport shuttle was nearing its landing sequence at which point all contact was lost with it. According to the Commander's desperate call for help, we believe the shuttle was shot down by some form of ground based weapon. This is all we know for now.
PC: I understand, sir. I will bring him back safely.
Captain Thrawn: He is currently in hiding, and wounded as well, therefore this task will not be an easy one. I will give you the coordinates of where he last was when he contacted us. Bring him back here safely, so that we can debrief him to learn why his team failed.
Captain Dolman's shuttle has been shot down. You head out to your waypoint and pick him up, take him back to the Captain for a nice reward. Easy escort mission.
Conversation with Captain Thrawn[]
Captain Thrawn: Excellent news. We will attend to the Commander's wounds, then conduct a debriefing. From what he has just said, it seems this is an attack by the Rebels. If this is the case, then the Empire will need to keep a closer eye on these events. As for compensation I recommend you take this.
Mission 2: Bring Back the BlackBox from the Shuttle[]
Reward: 975 credits
Conversation with Captain Thrawn[]
Captain Thrawn: You have returned in a timely fashion, which is good. It has been confirmed that a surface attack was responsible for the destruction of the shuttle, and most likely performed by Rebels. We will need the flight record from the ship to help deduce who is responsible for the attack. You will need to travel to the debris and locate the transponder.
PC: This was obviously done by the Rebels, right?
Captain Thrawn: This is most likely the case, yes. Alas, not all of the enemies of the Empire are those with political agendas, though. Some wish to wreak their own self-righteous vengeance at the largest target they can find, which would be the Empire, of course. I prefer to explore every avenue before making a full decision, though.
PC: Yes, Captain. I'll bring it back immediately.
Captain Thrawn: Your eagerness has been noted. You should find it among the debris, but I would not put it past the locals to have already begun scavenging the ship for usable parts. At this time, the ship is not important. If the transponder, which possesses the flight data, is in the hands of a scavenger, you are authorized to liberate it from them. Now go.
This is a mission to go find a black box that really doesn't exist, a Thug has already picked it up! Kill the Thug (be slippery about it, use method #2) and slip away before his buddie's find out. This was an easy mission.
Conversation with Captain Thrawn[]
Captain Thrawn: You have performed your duty in a timely manner. I shall now have this flight data analyzed by my Chief Lieutenant so that we may discern what caused a Lambda-class shuttle to be so easily felled from the sky. I may have further need of your services shortly, so please stay within the vicinity.
Mission 3: Deliver the plans of a secret rebel weapon[]
Reward: 1050 credits
Conversation with Captain Thrawn[]
Captain Thrawn: Welcome back, agent. The results of the flight logs show the shuttle was downed while it was close to the ground. This leads to the conclusion that there is a secret rebel base on this planet. Marvelously hidden at that, I might add. I need these readings analyzed by a specialist stationed nearby. I trust you will be able to keep these secure?
PC: How does this point to the Rebels?
Captain Thrawn: The only thing powerful enough to down the shuttle, without registering any noticeable energy readings, would be a hand held weapon. I have noticed some readings that do not correlate with any known weapons that could have caused this, though. Therefore, it is highly likely that this was a Rebel attack by a previously unknown base. Will you deliver these now?
PC: They will make it there safely, I assure you.
Captain Thrawn: I have had your contact, Geg Winthazen, notified. He is a ballistics expert that has an exemplary career with us, and I appreciate his eye for detail. I am certain he will be able to identify the odd readings and trace them back to their source. This is being kept low profile until all of the proof is in.
A rebel base has been discovered in the emperor's backyard and it possesses a weapon capable of downing shuttles! You must deliver the holodisks you recently aquired from a Thug to an analyst named Geg Winthasen, after visting the Captain in between, of course. Nice reward, Geg is a bit fat for a stormtrooper.
Conversation with Captain Thrawn[]
Captain Thrawn: I am glad to hear your mission encountered no complications. I am certain the results will come back shortly. I may have further assignments for you, agent, so please be nearby for the short future. Oh, and Geg has asked me to give you this compensation.
Mission 4: Kill a Fambaa for his blood[]
Reward: 1125 credits
Conversation with Captain Thrawn[]
Captain Thrawn: The ballistics report has turned up some interesting results. The mysterious energy readings match those of an Ion Cannon's energy burst. This confirms the presence of the Rebels' new base. Whilst I prepare a full formal report to present to Lord Vader, I have need of someone to run a minor errand. Would you be interested?"
PC: I'm sorry, but did you say an errand?
Captain Thrawn: Yes, an errand. I understand that this doesn't sound like the most reasonable course of action, but perhaps the results will be as interesting as those provided by these energy readings. Rhyme and reason sometimes take twisted routes that are not easily seen.
PC: Yes, Captain, I'll do it.
Captain Thrawn: I'm glad you are willing to help. I am in need of a jar's worth of Fambaa blood. I know that it sounds odd, considering the current revelation of the Rebel's base, but I have a good feeling about this. You should be able to find a sizable herd of these creatures out in the swamps of this planet.
There are currently four ways to do this mission. It is the most difficult mission in any set in the Emperor's Retreat. It consists of travelling to your waypoint and killing a very large very tough dinosaur looking thing called a Fambaa.
A. Kite it. Old fashioned running and gunning. I did this, it took 35 minutes.
B. Get the Rebels to kill it! Run around the fambaa a bit and look for NPC humanoids (517 used rebels) and kite the Fambaa into them and they will help you kill it. This is a modified version of A.
C. Use the snag bug. Run the Fambaa around until he lodges in a tree (similar to how some people kill Kimoligas solo) then shoot it to death. This bug is still in the game.
D. Bring lots of help. At 5 specialists in your group, this thing turns yellow. With 3 in your group, if you're good and all have warning shot, you can use that to mix up body/head/leg shots together and chase it off when you get low on HAM bars.
Conversation with Captain Thrawn[]
Captain Thrawn: Wonderful. I'll be able to take this canister of gasses from the same swamp and combine these two together. I should be able to create a paste very similar to the paint used by the local amphibious natives in their art work. Check back with me shortly, for once I am done, I will have need of you to run another errand. And take these, as compensation for your assistance.
Mission 5: Pickup a painting brush from a seller[]
Reward: 1200 credits
Conversation with Captain Thrawn[]
Captain Thrawn: Now that I have my paint, I now need a brush to paint with. I have need of you to acquire a specially modified rocket for me. I have had a deal arranged with an agent from a local gun-smuggler, and I need you to carry through the purchase. You'll be there to make sure the transaction is completed, correct?
PC: I don't understand what's going on here. A weapon for a brush?
Captain Thrawn: One will find that logic is not always a linear path to the end destination. What appears at time to be convoluted chaos is in truth a disjointed thread in a larger, more ordered pattern. Many cultures throughout the galaxy call those who understand this 'Artists'. Much can be learned from these people, and I believe I will shortly learn more myself.
PC: Consider it done, sir.
Captain Thrawn: As I have expected from your previous work already. You will meet a woman by the name of Seldair Keeloo who will sell you the weapon. She doesn't know she is selling to the Empire, therefore she may react in an undesirable manner if she finds out. If this is the case, your objective is to acquire that rocket. You are dismissed.
This is a breeze compared to the mission before it. This lady doesn't know you're an imperial, feel free to kill her once she engages you.
Conversation with Captain Thrawn[]
Captain Thrawn: Spectacular. This is designed exactly as was 'advertised' - extra distance at the cost of a smaller explosion. Now, all I need to do is apply this paint to the surface of a rocket...and...done. Now, if you excuse me, I need to run some ballistics of my own. If this works, I believe we will find where the mysterious 'Ion Cannon' has come from. Report back in a little while, agent.
Mission 6: Destroy the Cell responsible for the Cannon[]
Reward: 225 Imperial faction points, TIE Pilot Suit & Helmet OR an AT-AT driver's uniform
Conversation with Captain Thrawn[]
Captain Thrawn: Through your help, I will now be able to present Lord Vader a more accurate report of what happened to the shuttle. For now, your orders will be to destroy the rest of these so-called revolutionaries. Are you prepared to leave?
PC: How did your strange tests pinpoint the smugglers?
Captain Thrawn: The paint I used was originally used by a species that have never used metal. By itself, it is quite innocuous, but when placed in contact with metal it will react in such a manner that can be confused for Ion discharge. Using a rocket launcher only sold by this Gun-Runner Hutt, I fired the paint coated rocket, exactly duplicating the same readings found on the shuttle. A clever decoy, but not clever enough.
PC: Yes, sir. Vengeance will be exacted.
Captain Thrawn: No, this will be more retaliation than vengeance. Vengeance will ensue at a later point. For now, the destruction of this small band will begin to give all the rebels a lesson in what happens when one attacks the Empire. Report back when you have destroyed the group.
This is the first step in vengence for Captain Dolman's Shuttle crash. Destroy the cell located at the waypoint provided, its a nice little bit of experience. They're pretty easy if you have Probot at this point forward. Though a red commando will do serious damage to you if you go unprepared, so bring a buddy.
Conversation with Captain Thrawn[]
Captain Thrawn: I take it the rebels have been demolished? Very good. I have presented the information to Lord Vader, and he is quite upset by the news. I have suggested to him that Colonel Veers will be more than capable of handling this situation. You should report to him now. Good work, agent.
Colonel Veers[]
Mission 1: Destroy the Rest of the Rebel Base[]
Reward: 1275 credits
Conversation with Colonel Veers[]
Colonel Veers: At ease, soldier. You have been assigned to me by Captain Thrawn to assist in the retribution for an attack upon a military Imperial vessel. I have been ordered to track down the Hutt crime lord responsible for this heinous act. I am told you are adept at reconnaissance, and I am in need of those functions performed. Do you understand, soldier?
PC: Do we know why the shuttle was downed?
Colonel Veers: Captain Thrawn believes it has to do with a recent civilian law enforcement raid that was being looked into by our Empire. I believe there may be more to it. To risk such a bold move as attacking a clearly marked Imperial shuttle, I believe they were attempting to steal the identification codes assigned to the shuttle. Are you available to help?
PC: Loud and clear, Colonel! I'll lend a hand.
Colonel Veers: The rebels you recently eliminated have destroyed their own base. Presumably some kind of self destruction. Some people are out there trying to salvage whatever they can. I suspect that most of them work for the Hutt, therefore I need you to eliminate everyone at that site. It is likely that some of their possessions will lead us to this Hutt. Depart at once, soldier.
There is a set of rebels located at the waypoint. Kill them all, return to Veers for more instructions. If you have a Probot, this is easy.
Conversation with Colonel Veers[]
Colonel Veers: You have returned. I take it all went well with the elimination? I see you were able to find some information leading back to the Hutt. Well, we now have a name at least. I'll have Intelligence check with their spies on Nal Hutta to track down who this 'Borvo the Hutt' is. In the meantime, take this as compensation for your assistance.
Mission 2: Rescue the Stormtroopers[]
Reward: 1350 credits
Conversation with Colonel Veers[]
Colonel Veers: At ease, agent. I have an urgent assignment that I am choosing you for. The stormtroopers I've sent to secure the debris of the starport have come under fire. I have all of my other squadrons assigned elsewhere; therefore I need to send you too. Shall I give you the coordinates of their last known whereabouts?
PC: What happened to the stormtroopers?
Colonel Veers: They appear to have been ambushed on their way out to the target location. Those responsible for the ambush knew exactly where to strike first - the squadron leader. From the last report in, the stormtroopers were firing wildly everywhere. Well, more wildly than they already do, that is.
PC: Yes, sir! Where can I find them?
Colonel Veers: You should be able to find the squadron at these coordinates. Since the squadron leader was taken out, you are given full authority to lead them during the interim. Direct them to destroy all the surrounding opposition, then bring them back here. If the squadron has been decimated, then destroy the aggressors yourself.
A group of stormtroopers is pinned down at the waypoint, though I have never found them. Go to the waypoint, kill everything even remotely thug or rebel around it and your mission should be complete. Another fire mission that isn't too hard if you're a specialist with a pet or have a buddy.
Conversation with Colonel Veers[]
Colonel Veers: It is a shame that we lost that squadron. Though numerous, Stormtroopers are still valuable. Nonetheless, those bandits won't be bothering any other Imperial soldiers in the future. You have done well, and I will make sure that is noted to Lord Vader at the end of this campaign. You should take this as compensation for your assistance.
Mission 3: Clean the Shuttle Debris and get the Manifest[]
Reward: 1425 credits
Conversation with Colonel Veers[]
Colonel Veers: Our search for the leader of the gun-smugglers has been fruitful. All reports have come back from other Stormtrooper squadrons that have been inspecting the surrounding starports, and it seems there is an unidentified shipment coming in. I'm certain this will lead to that Twi'lek's base, then we can commence the attack.
PC: Twi'lek? I thought Borvo was a Hutt?
Colonel Veers: Our spies on Nal Hutta have failed to turn up any information on Borvo the Hutt. I have received information from the ISB referring to a Twi'lek that goes by that name, and has 14 charges of smuggling against him. I am certain he is the one using the Hutt pseudonym to inspire fear, but it will not work against the Empire.
PC: I understand. I shall intercept that shipment.
Colonel Veers: The shipment has already landed and unloaded. You will need to track down the caravan, which has opted to travel by land. Try to gauge what direction they are heading if possible and trail them. If not, destroy the gang that is transporting the shipment, and gather the manifest from the cargo. This may help the ISB.
The manifest for the shuttle is important to Colonel Veers, make sure you pick it up from the Thug after you waste him. These Thug's are very good at searching through burning wreckage.
Conversation with Colonel Veers[]
Colonel Veers: Very good. I will have this manifest inspected by the ISB. With hope, this may help lead us to where Borvo can be located. Once we finally have that information, I can launch a full scale assault upon his base of operations. Scum like that do not deserve to prosper freely.
Mission 4: Capture Borvo the Twi'lek and bring him in[]
Reward: 1500 credits
Conversation with Colonel Veers[]
Colonel Veers: The ISB has been quite thorough with their analysis, and have been able to triangulate where Borvo's base can be found. I have been authorized to dispatch a team of Special Forces operatives to take him by surprise. I need you to be the one who will be responsible for the actual elimination of Borvo. Do you understand?
PC: Will I be the only one on this operation?
Colonel Veers: No, there will be several more operatives such as yourself out at the target's location. Their job will be to pull away most of the guards surrounding this crime lord, whereas yours will be the actual elimination of the target - Borvo in this case. The Empire would never send you out alone against small numbers, agent.
PC: Yes, sir. It will be done.
Colonel Veers: Since the other operatives will be able to clear the way for you, all you have to do is identify Borvo - a Twi'lek -, and kill him. If there any guards nearby, do not allow Borvo to escape in the crossfire. You are dismissed.
This is an easy mission as long as you DO NOT SHOOT THE TWI'LEK. I missed that handy part the first time around. Borvo is yellow on your radar, the rest are red and will engage together. Kill them all, then go talk to Borvo. If you shoot him, you may need to use METHOD 1 to calm him down.
Conversation with Colonel Veers[]
Colonel Veers: Well, well... Borvo the Twi'lek's days of Imperial defiance are over with. As for you, agent, I offer you my congratulations for a job expertly done.
Mission 5: Destroy the Real Borvo and Clean up the Stragglers[]
Reward: 275 Imperial faction points, Schematic for a Droidsmith's Tool Set OR Lightweight Military Backpack Schematic
Conversation with Colonel Veers[]
Colonel Veers: I have been given rather... disturbing... news. It seems the person that was killed was not actually Borvo the Hutt, but a decoy instead. In a... er... display of anger, Lord Vader has put the messenger on the casualty list. I have been authorized by Lord Vader to destroy the only known supply line, in which I have been assigned your help.
PC: Didn't we get any information as to where the real Borvo is?
Colonel Veers: Unfortunately not. Lord Vader didn't get much information out of him before he expired. We were able to find out that there is a major supply line that he was in charge of, in which we will have to capitalize. Aside from that, our leads have gone cold, and Lord Vader doesn't wish to expend any more efforts upon this Borvo.
PC: I understand. I am at your disposal.
Colonel Veers: I will lead a squadron of AT-ATs to destroy the buildings surrounding the supply line. Your job will be to take out the remaining rabble so that Borvo cannot be alerted until it is too late. Destroy any of them that you see.
Colonel Veers is going to clean out Borvo's base with some ATAT's, which you will never see. You will proceed to the waypoint and eliminate the fleeing "REAL" Borvo along with all his lackies. Kill everyone, failure to do so will result in a failed mission.
Conversation with Colonel Veers[]
Colonel Veers: You have performed admirably, agent. The supply line has been destroyed, and Borvo wasn't able to make it in time. I will have to write up an analysis on usage of these AT-ATs for full scale attacks, based on their performance in the field. Who knows... perhaps I might gain a promotion due to it. Again, agent, I commend your skills.
The Emperor[]
Congradulations, you've made it to an audience with the Emperor. The Emperor is accessable from the elevator between the two royal guards in the main room (like you haven't already been up there soon as Kaja let you in the building). He is impressive, kneel before him like Vader and utter "What is thy bidding, my master?" Its neat.
Mission 1: Capture the Thug Ringleader[]
Reward: 1575 credits
Conversation with the Emperor[]
The Emperor: So you are the one I have heard so much about, eh? I am certain you would not be averse to helping me with a little problem, would you? The Rebels have come looking for the datapad you recovered from the escaped prisoner. I will now need to speak with the head of a local gang of thugs. Would you bring him to me?
PC: What do these thugs have to do with the Rebel scum?
The Emperor: Oh, there is no connection between these two parties. At least, not yet. Information has been intercepted that claims a Rebel General has been sent to personally recover the plans on that datadisc. It has come to my attention that the Queen of Naboo will be harboring this Rebel General. This so very displeases me. Shall you do this now?
PC: Yes, at your command, my lord.
The Emperor: I have had a message sent to this criminal, and he will be awaiting you to bring him here. He is aware that he will be granted immunity for his gang's activities whilst we speak. Treat him with all due respect, and bring him within my presence. I expect not to wait long...
Emphasis again on the "capture" part. Use Method 1 on the Thug Ringleader at your waypoint and he will come with you for execution by the Emperor.
Conversation with the Emperor[]
The Emperor: Yes, you have served me well. You may leave until the criminal and I are done with our... conversation. And take this as compensation.
Mission 2: Deliver the Plans to Ringleader[]
Reward: 1650 credits
Conversation with the Emperor[]
The Emperor: The leader of these... mercenaries... has decided to curtail their criminal activities and have become loyal subjects to the Empire. They have willingly offered their services for an errand I need done. They are now awaiting a very special package, one in which I can entrust you to deliver, correct?
PC: Do these security systems guard the Rebel General?
The Emperor: Ahhh... you are quite impatient, young one. The most pleasant of surprises are the ones that are well thought out. I do so fear ruining the fun for everyone involved, that I cannot reveal anything more yet. *cackles* Soon, soon, your patience will pay off.
PC: You can place your trust in me, my lord.
The Emperor: Good, good. I knew you would be most willing to offer yourself for this duty. Take this datapad with the plans to a major... construction... project that is in the works. You will deliver it to our new Imperial subjects, for they will keep it safe. Make sure that only they receive it. I will be quite displeased to hear of you failing me.
This is pretty much an exact clone of the first mission with different storyline. You deliver some plans that don't exist to a Thug Ringleader that you have to use METHOD 1 on to talk to you.
Conversation with the Emperor[]
The Emperor: You have returned. I trust the plans have been safely placed in their hands? Good, good. They should be preparing their men at this time for their assistance they have offered. I will send for you when I need you to do your part, as well. There is more compensation for you as well, I believe.
Mission 3: Kill the Security Guards[]
Reward: 1725 credits
Conversation with the Emperor[]
The Emperor: You may rise, my young friend. I have need of your services again, for you have been most loyal to the Empire. You will need to help disable some bothersome security experts in order to allow the team of mercenaries to fulfill their task. You find yourself capable of doing such, do you not?
PC: Do these security systems guard the Rebel General?
The Emperor: In a manner of speaking, yes. The Queen of Naboo has hidden the Rebel General away within her Summer Home, or so she thinks. The mercenaries job will be to speak to the Queen in a quite... brutish... manner. They will force her to reveal the whereabouts of the General, though I expect them to fail miserably.
PC: I shall do anything that is asked of me.
The Emperor: This pleases me to hear this. You need to travel to the following location to eliminate the Queen's security experts. Destroy these fools in order to allow the mercenaries to perform their task undisturbed. Worry not, my friend, the Queen shall not come to too much harm. She's no good to me dead.
These guards are tough. Bring a buddy or two to take them out. They guard the Queen's summer home, though you don't see the home when you do this mission, just a "security officer" that you have to kill, then head back to the Emperor. Its tough doing his business.
Conversation with the Emperor[]
The Emperor: The mercenaries have completed their task due to your assistance. This is a desirable outcome to these events, don't you think? Now all we need is patience, and we shall see this plan come through.
Mission 4: Escort the Handmaiden to the Emperor[]
Reward: 1800 credits
Conversation with the Emperor[]
The Emperor: It seems that the Queen was not pleased with her visitors and has become quite vocal over this. Lord Vader has informed her that the Empire had no involvement with this. I am sending an escort to bring one of her Handmaidens here so that I may apologize for this misunderstanding. You will wish to offer your services as escort, am I right?
PC: Why is she blaming the Empire for this when they were clearly mercenaries?
The Emperor: Oh, for they were wearing Stormtrooper armor we provided when they did so. She now believes the Rebel General that the Empire is a threat, and has called the Naboo High Council to vote on whether they should openly ally with the Rebels. The Queens of Naboo are quite easily persuaded to believe anything, I fear...
PC: I would be honored to do this, my lord.
The Emperor: I expect the Handmaiden safely escorted here without any harm brought to her. Treat her handmaiden as if she were the Queen herself, subject. If anything happens to her, I will be...most displeased.
This is a simple exec-protect mission. Run to the waypoint, talk to the snooty little handmaiden to get the "finish mission" waypoint message, then lead her into a group of rebels and let them kill her, because she's so high and mighty. (She will kneel and use a blaster to defend herself, its funny.. especially when he congradulates you on returning her to him unharmed).
Conversation with the Emperor[]
The Emperor: You have done a remarkable job, my friend. I am very glad to see the... handmaiden.... was not harmed, for we perish the thought of bringing any harm to the people of Naboo. Isn't that right, Your Highness? Yes, yes, I'm quite familiar with your tendency of taking on other... guises. Subject, you may leave now as the Queen and I discuss the horrible tragedy that was brought upon her by Rebel imposters. Take this as your compensation.
Mission 5: Elminate the Rebel Cell responsible for the assault on the Queen[]
Reward: 1875 credits
Conversation with the Emperor[]
The Emperor: The Queen has been shown records of a Rebel raid that lost the Empire several crates of Stormtrooper armor. It has been suggested to her that the Rebel imposters were trying to scare her into joining their side by masquerading as Imperial troops. We tracked down these Rebels, and are sending a team to handle them. You are that team.
PC: What will this prove to the Queen?
The Emperor: The criminal leader is holding the datapad you delivered him earlier, which will be shown to the Queen. This will show that the Rebel General was using the datapad story as a ruse to power down her generators. The Queen will see the datapad holds plans to construct a super-weapon to be used by the Rebels...after a few changes, that is.
PC: I will not fail you.
The Emperor: I do not believe you will. You will need to locate the remainder of the band of criminals and exterminate them. After you have eliminated the leader of their band, return here with the datapad he was safely hiding. Your actions will be recorded for the Queen to see, so it would be wise to silence them before they speak.
These rebels are a shadow compared to their compatriots. Kill them all and show the world what it is to defy the Emperor and the Queen. She will watch you doing this remotely and become disgusted. These are a set of three rebel troopers, an easy kill.
Conversation with the Emperor[]
The Emperor: You have performed successfully. The Queen has watched the distasteful events that unfolded, and will now see what the Rebels really had planned to do. The painful look she displayed upon her face when she realized she was betrayed by the Rebels was quite.... pleasing. Go with my blessing.
Mission 6: Deliver the Queen's Message to the Parliament Courier[]
Reward: 1950 credits
Conversation with the Emperor[]
The Emperor: The Queen has now decided to redirect her anger, and has recorded a rather... hateful... message to be viewed by the Naboo High Council. This message must get to the Council immediately before they vote. I trust you will be able to deliver this, correct?
PC: What was the message she recorded?
The Emperor: The Queen has informed the Naboo High Council that she has witnessed evidence that the Rebels have tried to assassinate her through a devious plot. Were it not for the intervention of the Empire, she would have surely been killed. With much anger flowing through her, she has denounced the Rebellion and branded them as criminals.
PC: Yes, my lord. I am at your service.
The Emperor: Your dedication pleases me. Take this holodisc and bring it to the Council. The Queen will leave shortly to confirm her message to the Council, but this needs to be there immediately. Return here after they have watched the message, so this way we can see our plans to their completion.
Take a recording of the Queen's speech to the Parliament courier for the Emperor, he is standing at the waypoint waiting for you in typical snooty fashion.
Conversation with the Emperor[]
The Emperor: Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen. The Rebels will be branded as criminals here on Naboo in short order and the Queen has been turned to our side. The Rebels do not understand they are no match for the power of the Dark Side. And now it is time for the General to walk into my trap.
Mission 7: Assassinate the Rebel General[]
Reward: 325 Imperial faction points, Grooved Two-handed Sword:
Conversation with the Emperor[]
The Emperor: The Queen's hate has made us powerful. The Rebel General is now fleeing the planet under the threat of imprisonment from the good Queen. Our patience has paid off, young friend. Go intercept the foolish Rebel and kill him personally.
PC: Shall I kill him?
The Emperor: Yes.. let your anger flow through you. Not until the General is shown the true power of the Dark Side shall his life be extinguished. Go now and destroy him.
PC: As you wish, my master.
The Emperor: Do not fail me.
Depending on how "thorough" you are, this can take one person and a probot or five really skilled people. Standing around at the waypoint for this firemission is a yellow general and four white colonels/specmarines. The General is the target, I used METHOD 2 to kill him and ran away, suffering huge wounds in the process. My probot put up a good fight, long enough for me to eliminate the General and make my escape.
Conversation with the Emperor[]
The Emperor: The Rebels will be sad to hear they have lost one of their most prized Generals. Only now do they understand the might of the Empire. The Rebels will now fear the threat of Naboo's Queen. Without guidance from this General, they will be quite inclined to stay away from Naboo as I continue with my project. You have served me well, my Hand. And for that you shall receive this compensation...
Darth Vader[]
Vader is located by where you went to see Colonel Veers and Captain Thrawn. In the hallway there, instead of making a left towards the balcony door, proceed straight, then make the first left, then immediately a right through a pair of large machine doors. There will be two stormtroopers there waiting and you know you have the right room. Walk directly across the room towards the curved part in the wall and once you are standing almost right on it, it will open and Vader will be standing there. He's a tall **edit** and has a job for you to do..
Mission 1: A Rebel on Naboo[]
Reward: 2025 credits
Conversation with Darth Vader[]
Darth Vader: I have contracted the services of a special agent to watch for any disturbances on Tatooine. My agent has told me of a Rebel that was destined for Naboo. You will find that Rebel and destroy him.
PC: Why is this one Rebel so important?
Darth Vader: This Rebel has certain connections to others that interest the Empire. He must not be allowed to reach his contact.
PC: Yes, Lord Vader.
Darth Vader: You will track down this Rebel and bring back anything of importance on him, for I suspect there was a reason for his journey. My agent has failed in stopping this person. Do not fail me, Agent.
Vader uses his magic spidey sense tingling to detect a single rebel on Naboo. Go kill him.. he doesn't really say why. Proceed to the waypoint and put a bullet in his head, then return to Vader. Easy kill.
Conversation with Darth Vader[]
Darth Vader: You have done well. I see that you have brought me the information the Rebel was delivering. I may have need of your skills shortly.
Mission 2: Retrieve the Master's Agent's Information[]
Reward: 2100 credits
Conversation with Darth Vader[]
Darth Vader: This datapad contains some incriminating information. I have sent for further information to be delivered to me. You will meet with the Emperor's agent and bring to me the information she has acquired.
PC: Who is this agent I am to meet?
Darth Vader: Just as I employ agents to perform menial duties, so does my Master. You will meet with one of his specialists who is adept at recovering information. You would do well to learn from her.
PC: I shall do so at once, Lord Vader.
Darth Vader: Make sure you see to it. Do not keep my Master's agent waiting for too long.
This is a small delivery mission with one bonus, Mara Jade. The agent for the Master is actually Mara Jade. Check her out in a rather neat looking leotard with red and grey web pattern. She even has the facial scar.. is she supposed to? Who cares.. its Mara.. *purr*.
Conversation with Darth Vader[]
Darth Vader: Interesting. It seems there is a deeper connection as I had suspected. You have performed well, Agent. I know I will have need of your services later.
Mission 3: Meet the Rebellion's Courier and Kill him[]
Reward: 2175 credits
Conversation with Darth Vader[]
Darth Vader: Our Imperial Probe Droids have managed to locate the intended recipient of the former Rebel's message. You are now tasked with finding this co-conspirator and destroying them.
PC: What is this Rebel charged with?
Darth Vader: For being a spy and a traitor to the Empire! This is enough to warrant execution. NOW GO!
PC: As you wish, Lord Vader.
Darth Vader: Our spies have sent Mellag Davin-Lars a message to expect a visitor. You will be that visitor. Bring back anything important located on the corpse.
Find the Rebellion's Courier and put a bullet in him. He doesn't take more than one shot and falls down like a little girl.. such is the plight of the rebellion. Return to Vader afterwards for a neat reward. (I got grenades)
Conversation with Darth Vader[]
Darth Vader: I find this most disturbing. It seems the hero of the Rebellion shares the same name as this farm boy on Tatooine. Interesting. You may leave for now.
Mission 4: Meet Lord Vader's Information Broker[]
Reward: 2250 credits
Conversation with Darth Vader[]
Darth Vader: The connection with this boy and the one who destroyed the Death Star is too coincidental. I have arranged a clandestine meeting between you and an information broker with Black Sun. You are expected there shortly.
PC: Why is the Empire dealing with Black Sun?
Darth Vader: Black Sun is a criminal organization that is under the good graces of the Emperor. Were I the one to rule the Galaxy, this would be different. Now, you are expected at the rendezvous point.
PC: Yes, Lord Vader. What will you need of me?
Darth Vader: The information broker has collected some information from Tatooine regarding a past event. You are to retrieve those documents and inform him that once I have perused the information, he will then be paid what he deserves.
This is part one of a two part deal with this information broker. The first mission is a simple delivery mission. Approach him, talk to him, return to vader. Easy enough.
Conversation with Darth Vader[]
Darth Vader: This information cannot be true. Obi-Wan would not have dared to hide himself there. No! This information is false. You, however, have fulfilled your assignment. I will have more for you shortly.
Mission 5: Kill the Information Broker[]
Reward: 2325 credits
Conversation with Darth Vader[]
Darth Vader: This seller of information has tried my patience for the last time. He underestimates whom he is trying to cheat. You will go meet him and deliver to him his payment.
PC: What was false about the information?
Darth Vader: The broker claims that there remained a Jedi on the planet of Tatooine. I personally scoured the planet years earlier and found no trace of him. This story of young Skywalker is a deliberate hoax.
PC: As you wish, Lord Vader.
Darth Vader: Since this information he is selling is obviously false, you will pay him exactly what he deserves. Kill him.
This is the second part of a two part deal with this information broker. You know Vader doesn't like loose ends, so you are dispatched to kill the information broker who reported on the "battle at the cantina".. one can only infer they are speaking of the Obi-Wan incident in the Mos Eisley Cantina. Once you come within sight of him, an assassin and a mercenary will appear out of nowhere, both yellow to a group of three specialists, and start attacking. Ignore them, kill the information broker and make your escape, METHOD 2 is important here. If you have some buddies, kill them all for **edit**s and giggles.
Conversation with Darth Vader[]
Darth Vader: Impressive. You destroyed him and his friends by yourself. You have done well by me.
Mission 6: Kill Kaydeer, Obi-Wan's Friend[]
Rewards:
- 2400 credits
- 25 Imperial faction points
- Schematic for Enhanced E11 Carbine
- Imperial Badge of Merit
Conversation with Darth Vader[]
Darth Vader: Having reviewed the information purchased by the former broker, it seems there was something worth interest. It seems that my old nemesis, Obi-Wan, had friends upon this very planet. You are to seek them out and destroy them.
PC: Who is this Obi-Wan?
Darth Vader: Obi-Wan Kenobi was an old enemy. It appears he may have had a deeper connection with the boy who destroyed the Death Star.
PC: I will leave at once, Lord Vader.
Darth Vader: See that it happens. If you find anything of note upon them, bring it to me.
Kaydeer is a friend of Vader's old nemesis and teacher, ObiWan Kenobi. Kill him with a few shots. He likes to hide out around gangs of Maulers (who will inflict serious injuries in you if you get close enough) so shoot him from a distance, then make your escape while you have a successful mission. After you complete this mission, Vader is done with you.
Conversation with Darth Vader[]
Darth Vader: This information is most disturbing. It appears that were Alderaan still in existence, I would interrogate Bail Organa to see what the connection between Skywalker and Bail's daughter is. Alas, this cannot be done. Very well...
