Conversation with Brantlee Spondoon[]
Brantlee Spondoon: We received word from an informant that there is a plot in motion to discredit the Diktat and his administration. This informant wants one of us to meet with him in a warehouse where he will fill us in on the details. Go meet this informant and find out what he knows.
PC: I would be proud to do so.
Brantlee Spondoon: Very well. Go to the warehouse and see what this informant has to say. I do not expect any danger, as very few people know about this meeting, but be prepared for anything just in case.
Speak with the Government Informant[]
Your first task is to meet with an informant to gather some information at (/way 137 -4621) Inside the warehouse where you are to meet the informant, there are the following NPCs in a VERY grumpy mood:
- CorSec Deserter (CL33)
- CorSec Trooper (CL30)
- Renegade CorSec trooper (CL34)
- Rogue CorSec trooper (CL31)
At the very bottom of the warehouse is the prone body of the government informant, your contact (/way 120 -4640). Speak with him to get your next task.

A government informant: Are you from the government? It's getting dark. I'm not sure... how much longer I've got. You must get to my datadisk. It's in my hiding place. Find it. I'll upload some coordinates to your datapad... Please hurry...
Retrieve the Informant's Hidden Datadisk[]
You are to find a hidden datadisk. Head to (/wp 444 -4644 A Dented Crate) where you’ll find a crate marked "A Dented Crate", again surrounded by the same CorSec Troopers (CL30) encountered in the warehouse.
Nothing in the Stash[]
The informant's hidden stash is empty. It's fairly obvious that the Rogue CorSec in the area found the stash and emptied it.
Fight the Rogue CorSec[]
Clicking on the crate will then reveal your next task, to kill five of the CorSec in the area. Killing the 5th will give you a pop up message stating a Rogue CorSec Datapad has been placed in your inventory.
Rogue CorSec Datapad[]
After defeating the rogue CorSec troopers, you found a datapad on one of them. Try logging onto it.
Log onto the Rogue CorSec Datapad[]
You are to log onto this datapad. To do so, simply right click it, and select the option "Log onto Datapad" from its radial menu.
Unable to Log onto Datapad[]
After trying multiple times to log onto the datapad, you give up because you can't get past its security. It looks like something Lt. Jasper should see, but return to Brantlee before going to Lt. Jasper and don't mention the datapad to her.
Report Back to Brantlee Spondoon[]
You find you can’t access the datapad, and figure you should take it back to Lt. Jasper. But, first, head back to Brantlee (/wp -236 -4570 Brantlee).

Brantlee Spondoon: He was attacked by rogue CorSec? The fact that they actually were after this informant lends some credibility to whatever his story would have been. If only you'd gotten to that datadisk before they did. Thank you for trying.
Bring the Datapad to Lt. Jasper[]
Finally, returning to Lieutenant Mack Jasper (/wp -69 -4634 Lt. Jasper) will complete the Quest.

Lieutenant Mack Jasper: What's this? A datapad. And you got it from a Rogue CorSec trooper? You're certain?
PC: Yes, I'm certain.
Lieutenant Mack Jasper: Ah, this is bad. The Rogue CorSec are a group of former CorSec troopers and agents who for various reasons left CorSec in pursuit of a more criminal lifestyle. I haven't dealt with them much myself, but I've heard that they can be a troublesome group. As would be expected. Some members of CorSec find them embarrassing. Others outright hate them.
PC: And you?
Lieutenant Mack Jasper: Undecided as yet. Let me see if I can access any of the files on this datapad you found...There we go. Hmmm. It looks like they suspected that informant of knowing about some plot the Rogue CorSec are working on. That's the informant you were sent to talk to. I wonder what they're up to. Could it be connected?
PC: Seems possible.
Lieutenant Mack Jasper: In any case, it's not something we can ignore. I have an idea. I know a guy named Jonset. Keeps his eyes and ears open and has helped me with information in the past. He's usually in the Coronet cantina. Go speak with him and see if he's heard anything.
PC: I'm on my way.
Lieutenant Mack Jasper: Excellent. Jonset should be at the cantina. Be sure to tell him I sent you.
