Grave Robbers was a quest added to the game with the Publish 21.

Introduction[]

Introduction from Friday Feature - Quest Highlights

In the hustle and bustle of starports, adventurers can sometimes stumble across the strangest things. Recently, there has been a rash of grave robbers showing up at an old Aqualish gravesite. The local Fed Dub authorities can't seem to stop the thieves from showing up to this old site. The Aqualish don't like what's going on and want to put a stop to it. If you have the stomach (or stomachs) for graveyards, see Omkoo in the Dearic Starport.

Omkoo

Omkoo in Dearic

Omkoo is an Aqualish who can be found in the spaceport of Dearic on Talus. He is very concerned about grave robbers and wants you to find them and convince them to leave the Aqualish grave sites...

Conversation with Omkoo[]

Omkoo: Oh I've heard of you, you're %TU right? I think you might be just the person I need to help me out with something, if you're available?
PC: That is I and yes, I might be interested.
Omkoo: Excellent! Let me explain the situation to you. As you may or may not know the Aqualish have been on the twin worlds for a long time. Our old buildings can be found at several places, now a day mostly in ruins. We don't care so much about them, they are part of an old history that we try to forget.
PC: I see, go on.
Omkoo: There's however some areas that we don't like to see defiled by anyone, namely our gravesites. That's why I check up on them now and then and listen carefully for rumors about someone planning a trip out to them.
PC: Is this leading to something that involves me?
Omkoo: Yes I'm getting to that part, sorry for taking so long. I just want to make sure you understand the background of my predicament.
PC: Very well. So I take it something has happened now?
Omkoo: Indeed. I've been informed of some thugs doing something near one of our oldest gravesites on Talus. I want you to go out there and investigate if they are indeed disturbing the dead and convince them to leave if so. Leave and never come back if you understand what I mean?
PC: Completely. I can guarantee they won't be back again.
Omkoo: I'm glad we understand each other. I will of course reward you for your services. Let me put in the coordinates of the site to your datapad. I will contact you again when you get out to the area.

Investigate the Ruins[]

Omkoo gives you a waypoint to the Aqualish Gravesite (-4592 4345). Upon arrival, you notice 3 TTLP Soldiers (CL40-49 Elites) milling about, hauling materials from the ruins.

Omkoo: From what you are describing, these don't look like thugs. Either way, they are hauling materials out of the ruins, and that is a crime that we cannot stand idly by and watch. I trust that you can do what I hired you for and take care of these scums.

Scare them Off[]

Ttlp

A TTLP Soldier

Omkoo instructs you to "take care of these scums" by killing them. Kill the 3 Soldiers that are desacrating the Aqualish gravesite. He hopes that the death of these three will discourage further looters.

Note: It is possible to complete this part by killing the TTLP soldier in Nashal, it's good if you lose the waypoint to the grave robbers or if you're not CL50 yet.

Omkoo: Excellent. You knew what had to be done and performed as expected. We are getting reports that the thugs have already shipped off some things they found at the site. You need to track them down and retrieve what's ours. One is at the starport in Nashal and the other is at what appears to be a Rebel weapon depot. It's your choice which one you want to track down first. After you have both, come back to me.

Retrieving Artifacts, Nashal[]

Now that the immediate threat of looting has been dealt with, Omkoo sends you to one of two places to reclaim already removed gravesite materials. One of these is the Nashal starport, in a small box guarded by two TTLP Soldiers (CL35) Take them out and reclaim the materials in the box (4415 5351). Wrapped carefully in some cloth, you find a key made of the strangest material. Though it is small enough to fit in the palm of you hand, you are barely able to pick it up because of its weight.

Retrieving Artifacts, Weapons Depot[]

The second location of the stolen goods is the Rebel Weapons Depot (-4917 -3124) on Talus. A large box will be guarded by one TTLP Soldier. (CL35) Remove him from the picture and search the box (-4926 -3138). The box found here contains medical equipment. It also has a document from a group calling itself the Talus and Tralus Liberation Party, offering the Rebel Alliance their help in exchange for support for their own aims.

The box found here contains weapons and medical equipment. It also has a document that seems to be an offer from something called the Tralus and Talus Liberation Party to the Rebel Alliance, describing advantages of the two cooperating.

Note: you must be flagged as Special Forces to enter the area where the large box is. Whether you are attacked or not depends on who is currently controlling the PvP zone at the moment.

Return to Omkoo[]

Return to the Aqualish and converse with him. Omkoo is perplexed as to why the TTLP is interested in Aqualish grave sites, but he is grateful to you for your help. He thanks you, and rewards you for your trouble. This completes the quest.

Conversation with Omkoo[]

Omkoo: Even though it's still a mystery what the TTLP want with the old Aqualish society, you've helped out greatly %TU. They will think twice about coming out to one of our gravesites and disturbing the fallen again. I will try to unveil the mysteries behind all this.
PC: Yeah it's weird indeed, I hope you'll find something out.
Omkoo: Me too %TU, me too. Anyway, you've earned your pay friend. Thank you again for your discretion and for taking care of this so smoothly.
