Galatic Marines of the Nova Corps led by General Ki-Adi-Mundi assaulted Mygeeto during the final stages of the clone wars to liberate it from Banking Clan control, When Commander Bacara recived order 66 they elected to wait until the Jedi was most vulnerable to attack, while General Ki-Adi-Mundi charged partway across the bridge the clones stopped, when the Jedi turned around the clones opened fire, two Marines fell to shots deflected by the Jedi's Lightsaber before he was subdued. The Marines went on to capture Mygeeto for the Republic.
