Yavin System: Inspect the Rebel Agent[]
Description:
- Travel to the Yavin system and inspect the Rebel agent. The first step in discovering what the Rebels have located is to find an operations report on one of their agents. Intelligence has located an area that agents meet with flight commanders to exchange information. You must get to this location and inspect an agent for a completed activity report. If an agent is not at the location when you arrive you might need to destroy a few of the commanders to get some more Rebel pilots to come to the rescue.
Yavin system (Smuggler's Run)
Travel to the given waypoint, you will find:
- X-wing Tier 3 "Rebel Agent"
Disable its Engine, then Inspect it and Dock with it to transfer the "Yavin Activity Logs"(Which is a rare part as most of the ships may have nothing, or 'Unfinished Pilot log'). If you do not see any "Rebel Agent" ships near the waypoint, destroy the Rebel ships near the waypoint and more Agents will spawn.
Watch for Tier 3 B-Wing, Tier 3 A-Wing, 2x Tier 3 X-Wing and Tier 2 X-Wings in the area.

Escort the Scan Team[]
Escort the Scan Team[]
Description:
- Now that the Empire is armed with a record of Rebel activities in the area they have a good idea of where they need to look to find out about the Rebel's find. They are sending out a scanning craft to search the areas noted on in the activity log. You are to protect the scanning craft from any attempt to destroy it so they can get readings of the area.
Yavin system (Smuggler's Run)
Just go to the Rendez-vous waypoint and proceed the escort. No opposition met on that one...
Rewards:
- Credits: 5000 credits
- 50 Imperial Faction Points
You will receive training before the next mission, requiring a total of 120,000 xp (60k x 2). Several Duty mission options are given if you do not have enough xp banked. Remember, with GU16, depending upon your server's space population, flying Duty missions as Special Forces will result in increased mercenary tokens rewarded.
Capture the Twilight Sun[]
Yavin System: Capture the Twilight Sun[]
Description:
- The scan team has discovered that the Rebels have found the Death Star's firing core and are trying to transport it from the system on a gunboat, called the Twilight Sun. The Empire wants that core back in one piece. You are to capture the gunboat carring the firing core, but be warned the ship is being highly protected by the Rebels.
You have to destroy the escort of that Gunship:
- 4 Tier 2 Z-95
and Disable the Twilight Sun:
- Tier 1 Assault Gunboat "Twilight Sun".
which is equipped with 4 weapons. After you have disabled it wait a little until you receive a message from the crew who took control of the bridge, you will then receive an Escort mission.
You can be attacked by:
- 3 Tier 2 X-wing (1st Wave)
- 2 Tier 3 X-wing and 1 Tier 2 Y-wing (2nd Wave)
Rewards:
- Credits: 5000 credits
- 50 Imperial Faction Points
You will be asked to meet Captain Denner to pursue your Pilot adventures... He is located in the room next to Commander Alozen's one.
Duty missions[]
Yavin System: Destroy the Debris Scavengers Duty[]
Description:
- Travel to the Yavin System and destroy the Debris Cult members. The Empire's salvage operation of the Death Star is being hampered by a number of factors, the Rebellion, the Hutts, and the fanatic Debris Cult . The Rebels and Hutts will be taken care of in their own time. For now it is important to elliminate as many of the Debris Cult members as you can.
Yavin System: Capture the Debris Cult Freighter Duty[]
Description:
- The Debris Cult have been religiously gathering large quantities of valuable Death Star debris and shipping them out of the system. While the Empire has no idea what the Scavengers are planning to do with the debris they have collected, they do not want to lose the valuable salvage. You must capture these fleeing freighters and bring their cargo back for the Empire.
Yavin System: Protect the Imperial Salvage Freighters Duty[]
Description:
- The Empire salvage operation has been filling numerous cargo freighters with the salvaged pieces of the Death Star. These freighters are then sent out of the system to other areas of Imperial interest. The Debris Cult, who believe that all Death Star debris is theirs by devine right, have been attacking these cargo freighters and taking the scrap for their own. The Empire wants these ships protected as they leave the region.
