Eyma: I am Eyma, commander of the Civilian Protection guild. We are a benevolent organization of merchants and freelance pilots that protect commerce in outlying areas such as this. Have you heard of us?
PC: This is the first I've heard of you.
Eyma: We're not very proficient at promoting this organization. But that's acceptable. We don't want too much attention at the moment. The very notion of a 'protection' effort for freelance pilots would draw numerous criminal forces out of the murky depths... so to speak.
PC: What sort of work do you have to offer?
Eyma: There are definitely some issues that need clarification and problems that require solutions. I suggest you contact Rian Ry at the Kashyyyk space station and find out what's new. She'll point you in the right direction! She always does...
PC: Thanks.

Rian Ry: This is Kashyyyk station. State your business.
PC: What's going on around here?
Rian Ry: The usual mercenary mischief! We have received yet another distress call from a damaged freighter coming through the asteroid field. You want to be a hero? There's a few credits in it for you.
PC: What sort of credits are we talking about?
Rian Ry: The distress call bears the mark of the Civilian Protection Guild. They guarantee payment of a thousand credits for this sort of escort job. How does that sound?
PC: I'll take it!
Rian Ry: Okay. Maybe you're not so bad after all? The signal is coming from the other side of the asteroid belt. I am pretty certain that the pilot is a droid. Some roving bandits probably damaged the droid's navigation system.
PC: I can lead the droid pilot back here.
Rian Ry: That droid pilot needs your help! Escort him to this station so that we can tune his navigation system and get him on his way.
As a new recruit in the Guild, you'll immediately have to perform some dry escort missions.

The droid pilot of this freighter has sustained damage and cannot find his way out of the system.
Kashyyyk Station: The droid freighter should be nearby. Escort him to the Kashyyyk space station.

Follow closely as the droid pilot attempts to navigate out of the Kashyyyk system.
Escort a small freighter back to the Kashyyyk space station against waves of tiers 2-4 enemies.
Communicator: ALERT! We are under attack.

Rian Ry: Hey! Great job protecting that droid pilot. I thought he would be destroyed for sure! Listen... sorry if we got off on the wrong foot earlier. My name is Rian Ry. I am a representative of the Civilian Protection guild, and commander of this space station.
PC: What's the Civilian Protection guild?
Rian Ry: It's a group of merchants and civilian interests that try to protect one another in lawless regions of space like Kashyyyk. CPG offers limited contracts to honest pilots such as yourself.
PC: Any thing CPG needs done right now?
Rian Ry: Well, yeah... we just received a distress call from another transport. This one also seems to have run afoul of the Gotal bandits. Most people know to avoid the Gotal base... but not everyone, obviously. Do you want to investigate?
PC: You got it!
Rian Ry: That Civilian Transport needs your help, %TU! Guide them to this station and keep them out of harm's way!

Rian Ry: Absolutely! Our surface commander, Eyma, has requested a meeting with you to discuss a threat we have received. Will you agree to meet with him?

Talk to Eyma of the Civilian Protection Guild[]
You will find the venerable Nautolan named 'Eyma' located in a Wookiee hut in the city of Kachirho. Tell him everything you know about recent hostilities in Kashyyyk space.
Visit Eyma in the huts at the base of the great tree in Kachirho. Eyma is the leader of the Civilian Protection Guild. Meeting him shows you're moving up in the guild and will be given more difficult tasks.

Eyma: Greetings, my friend. Are you the valiant %TU that Rian Ry has told me so much about?
PC: Yes. You wanted to speak to me?
Eyma: The Civilian Protection guild needs your assistance! A group called the 'Ghrag Mercenary Clan' has declared open war on the civilian traffic in Kashyyyk space. They have threatened to destroy any and all traffic they find in this system until their demands are met.
PC: What are their demands?
Eyma: That's unclear. I know that they have had dealings with both the Trandoshan Slaver organization and a handful of Rebel outlaws. Whatever they want - they're not making it obvious to anyone.
PC: Why target civilians?
Eyma: That's the question, isn't it? I believe it's a simple question of strength. The Ghrag are not very powerful and cannot take on the Trandoshan Slavers to get their revenge. Instead they must prey on defenseless civilians!
PC: I will help.
Eyma: Fantastic! We need you to get to work right away. A civilian distress signal has been detected deep in the Tyyyn nebula. Fly there and rescue our friends!

Escort the Civilian Transport to the Kashyyyk space station[]
The civilian transport is powered up and ready to continue its journey. Escort it to the Kashyyyk space station so that it can make a safe jump to hyperspace.
Rian Ry: Perfect! As soon as you're docked the civilian transport will start drawing power from your ship.
Communicator: We need power to restart our repair system. We'll take it from your ship when you dock with us!
Dock with The Tereant III, a Tier 2 Gallofree Yards medium transport in Kashyyyk space.
Communicator: Thanks! Our repair system is fully-charged!
Rian Ry: Okay! The transport has drawn enough power to get under-way.

Rian Ry: Well, I don't think they're ready to give up just yet. We're hearing all sorts of noise coming from the Tyyyn nebula. I worry that another transport has come under fire. Interested in saving the day again?
PC: You bet!

Eyma: How are you, %TU? Doing well, I hope. I believe you have more information about the Ghrag mercenary clan?
PC: Yes.
Eyma: What can you tell me of their tactical situation here in the Kashyyyk system?
PC: Their numbers are thin. They are no threat to us.
Eyma: This doesn't sound right, %TU. What little I know of the Ghrag would indicate their numbers are rather high. This would support evidence of their continued aggression toward civilian transports. I think we'll need your help to secure Kashyyyk space.
PC: I'll do what I can.
Eyma: I will give Rian Ry the security clearance to broker civilian protection contracts to you at your discretion. Given your success to date, I think that our friends will be safe.
PC: Thanks.
Eyma: You are most welcome!
At this point, you may now take escort duty missions from the Kashyyyk Space Station: Civilian Protection Guild - Protect transports flying through Kashyyyk space

Eyma: Ah! %TU. It is good to see you again! Would you believe it... we have been contacted by a high-ranking Ghrag mercenary! He wishes to escape the criminal life and join the monks on Tatooine. Isn't that wonderful!
PC: If you say so.
Eyma: Yes! Now I want you to help him make his escape. You'll need to escort his shuttle to the Kashyyyk space station and protect him from any Ghrag mercenaries that would attack him. In exchange for this he will provide us with valuable tactical information. Hopefully enough to eliminate them entirely...
PC: He'll be dead before he takes off.
Eyma: He is constructing a ruse by which he leaves the station to secure several crates of Corellian brandy on order at the Kashyyyk space station. It's something he does quite often so they might let him slip through unscathed.
PC: Okay, then.
Eyma: Good luck!
Eyma gives the quest "Escort a Ghrag Traitor in exchange for information". However, you are ambushed upon you arrive in Kashyyyk space.
AMBUSH! Ghrag Fighters Attack![]

You are ambushed by three Tier 4 Ghrag mercenaries. Destroy them.
NOTE: they will run away with tails tucked between their legs after a couple minutes, even if you don't destroy them, that, and you will already have the Escort rendezvous WP up. As such you can just make your way there and let the escort de-spawn if you want...
After defeating the ambush, you can return to the quest given by Eyma.
Escort a Ghrag Traitor in exchange for information[]

Description:
- Eyma has made contact with a high-ranking Ghrag mercenary who wants to leave the organization and join an order of monks on Tatooine. In exchange for safe passage, this soon-to-be-ex-mercenary will provide Eyma with tactical information that could save hundreds of lives.

The mercenary starship will meet you at this location so that you may provide escort.
Eyma: The Ghrag contact has your location. He will be here in seconds...
Communicator: Get me out of here safe and you'll get the information you want!
Meet up with the traitor, a Tier 3 Ixiyen Ghrag.

Make sure that any Ghrag fighters that intercept you are destroyed before they can send word to their commander.

PC: What is it?
Eyma: It's a Nova Breaker 792-W starship booster! We received it as a gift from the Ghrag that you safely escorted out of this system. I feel that you should have it.
PC: Thanks!
Eyma: Don't mention it. Try it out if you wish. Come back and let me know when you're available again.
Conversation with Eyma[]
Eyma: Well hello there, %TU! I have some tremendously good news. The ex-mercenary that you escorted out of Kashyyyk space has provided us with detailed tactical information about the Ghrag mercenary clan.
PC: What sort of information?
Eyma: The Ghrag are now trying to secure a battery of heavy weapons... station-killers, if you will... for the purpose of destroying the Kashyyyk space station.
PC: Why would they do that?
Eyma: They have spies everywhere in Kashyyyk. They know that you have been talking to Rian Ry and myself and that your friendship with the Civilian Protection guild is very strong.
PC: So what do we do?
Eyma: We must prevent the Ghrag from obtaining these weapons. They have made contact with a weapons dealer named Kred'ka Sul. He'll be flying in to Kashyyyk space sometime today. You need to intercept him and prevent him from selling his wares to the Ghrag.
PC: I'm ready!
Eyma: Excellent! Good luck to you, %TU!
Intercept and Destroy Weapons Dealer[]

Description:
- Prevent the Ghrag mercenaries from acquiring enough munitions to destroy the Kashyyyk Space Station. Eyma is tracking the dealer based on information provided by the Ghrag traitor you escorted safely out of the system.

The weapons dealer Kred-ka Sul is flying under armed escort. Destroy his ship before he reaches his destination.
Eyma: Head out past the Tyyyn nebula. Intercept the arms dealer!
Eyma: Scan positive! The arms dealer has arrived! Neutralize the target with extreme prejudice.
Destroying the Ghrag gun dealer and his escort (two Tier 4 and three Tier 3) to complete the mission.
Eyma: Excellent work! It will be a long time before the Ghrag mercenaries can entice another weapons dealer to aid their ruthless cause!

Eyma: Now that you mention it... yes! Apparently the Ghrag were also planning to buy a starship blaster prototype from the weapons dealer you disintegrated. Perhaps you would like to have it?

This quest concludes the main story of the Civilian Protection Guild questline.

Eyma: Good to see you again, %TU! It's been quite an interesting time, has it not?
PC: Is there anything else you need me to do?
Eyma: Not at the moment. I have authorized Rian Ry to provide you with another sort of contract. Something that the CPG reserves only for its most trusted pilots. You should talk to her about it!
PC: What sort of contract?
Eyma: Well, the Ghrag are bereft of leadership and have lost their focus... thanks to you! However, there are still many independent mercenaries of the Ghrag clan lurking in the Kashyyyk system. We would like for you to eliminate them as you see fit.
PC: I like that.
Eyma: Capital! Please speak with Rian at the space station and she will make sure the paperwork is in order.
You are now considered a Civilian Protector and have access to new quests in the Kashyyyk System:
- The Corellian Corvette capture mission (see below)
- Duty missions
- Destroy duty missions at the Kashyyyk Space Station
- Destroy duty missions from the Veteran Civilian Protector
- Escort and destroy duty missions at the Imperial Outpost
- Escort and destroy duty missions at the Rebel Outpost
- Destroy duty missions at Tripp's Rodian Hunter Outpost
- Destroy duty missions at Sordaan's Rodian Hunter Outpost
- Capture duty missions at the Independent Slavers' Base
Faction branches: The Corellian Corvette[]
At this point, Eyma will send you to a representative of your pilot faction to perform the final mission in this series: capturing a Corellian Corvette. Rebel pilots should head to the Rebel Outpost in Kashyyyk space; Imperials should similarly see the Imperial Outpost; and Freelancers should speak again with the Kashyyyk Space Station. Contrary to the Kashyyyk Space Station, the Rebel and Imperial Outposts will give a transport escort mission before asking you to recover the Corellian Corvette.
- Privateer: Kashyyyk Space Station - The Corellian Corvette
- Rebel: Rebel Outpost - The Corellian Corvette
- Imperial: Imperial Outpost - The Corellian Corvette
You can also do the corvette mission from both the factional and freelance branches. In order to obtain both badges and both deeds on the same character, you must do the factional branch first. Obtaining the freelance first will bug the quest and prevent you from getting the factional ship later. Only two are obtainable by a single character; you can only get an Advanced X-wing or the Imperial Guard TIE Interceptor, and then the Vaksai.
