Conversation with Lieutenant Romer[]

Lieutenant Romer: Greetings, soldier! The base is completed, thanks to the hard work of all space miners. We are under constant attack though and could still use more organometallic gas from Deep Space. You willing to assist?
PC: Yes, sir. I can do that.
Lieutenant Romer: Excellent, soldier! Return to me when you have collected 250 units of organometallic gas. Good luck!

Raw materials[]

The Alliance has tasked you with mining 250 units of organometallic gas in Deep Space.

Before heading out, you might want to make sure that your ship, or a ship of one of your party members is equipped for Space mining. Also, Deep Space is a very dangerous area. You not only have to contend with NPC ships, but also with other players. So, you might want to bring along A LOT of friends to help. The good part about this mission is that as long as you are grouped and everyone in the group is in deep space during the mining, you will all get credit.

There should be 3 different Organometallic Gas asteroids in Deep Space. Since the area is void of asteroids and planets, it should not be too hard to find at least one. But, like I said before, the real danger are the PC and NPC ships.

Note: If you get blown up or have to hyperspace out of Deep Space, you will not lose the mission. You can still go back and keep collecting the minerals.

Return to Restuss[]

You have completed the mission in Deep Space. You should return to Lieutenant Romer in Restuss and give him the gas.

Once you (or your party member) has collected 250 units of organometallic gas, you can head back to Lieutenant Romer. The person whom mined the minerals will have to speak to Lieutenant Romer first. If anyone else in the party tries, he will only tell you that you need to mine more. Once the person whom mined the minerals speaks to Lieutenant Romer, the rest of the group can also speak to him to complete this quest.

Conversation with Lieutenant Romer[]

Lieutenant Romer: You have returned with the gas, soldier! Most excellent, these will be put to good use immediately. We need more though so if you're willing to assist again, please let me know.
